Ha, it's been a while since I've visited but what's going on! I know most of the Registered Users probably don't know who I am, but for the SRL-Members I might ring a bell.

How's everyone doing? Is SCAR still alive an well? Who's still around?

Has Fakawi stopped by at all?

As far as scripting goes, any ideas on what direction it's taken. Is everything SMART now, or is there still a lot of the color clicking?

Yes Fawk has been very active as of late and plans on being active for much time to come :)

Plenty of colored goodness, still. More and more is reflection, but a lot of people shy away from that.

Ya hopefully I'm back to stay, I've been really itching for some good programming challenges and I've been getting some free time back in my life. I really need to brush up / be updated on everything though… lol

Also, reflection, which i am sure you've heard of before, is gaining a big status in the communiy / became very commonly used since Benland released the version of smart with the hooks n whatever it is to the public :p

The community around here is doing great. We have a good member:leecher ratio in my opinion :). As it's already be said, Fakawi's been a lot more active recently because of the hosting changes. We of course want to thank Dankness for what he's done, but I think this is for the best. See you around :)

And yes I am taking over hosting. And SRL is recovering from a major RS overhaul. We need all the help we can in fitting back the puzzlepieces together.

Hopefully so long as it's ok with Fakawi and I do have the time to be back here, I will try to get MSI or something similar to it going! :) We just need active people to make it work!

My personal script output is close to none :). Seems like recently there have been less quantity of scripts and more quality.

Its where a whole bunch of good scripters get together and make a massive project.

You're not an idiot, MSI is a SRL Members+ group that focuses on making scripts that utilize / train multiple skills. We work on a group environment where we have many people working on a script or parts of a script at a time.

However, it's been pretty dead since I left so now we're going to get it going again.

I think you should start MSI up again, but I won't participate in it :p I've left scripting. I do, however, occasionally pop in here and leave a few messages.
