I'm starting to think I made a mistake :(.

I pk in PvP ONLY, and I leveled my prayer from 1 to 52 :(.

I leveled 4 combat levels from this ! :(

Was this useless, I mean, there's nothing to smite for in PvP is there ? :(

While smite isn't that useful, the extra prayer levels didn't hurt. There are a bunch of other cool prayers to use.

The attacking prayers are useful, its true, however I don't think it was worth that many levels…

And now I can't be proud of the quests made without prayer anymore :(.

i smite in soulwars and in PVP, couple of times i smited a 1 itemer and get a good drop…

its worth it. what are your stats?

Smite just looks epic - when you come in a spec out. I think you made the right decision. Stats of your pure?

yea all real pures have 52 prayer
my rune pure has 52 prayer
91 mage, 80 str,61 att, 40 def,74 range etc

Yeah you screwed up. All the "real" pures with 52 prayer (dunno how theyre the "real" ones, since the whole idea of a pure in the start was to keep prayer at 1…) would get owned by a pure of the same combat level as them with 1 prayer. True story. Although, these days you're fighting a whole range of levels (~10-15 levels difference) instead of those close (~1-2 levels difference) to your own like in the old days, so it probably won't impact too much.

I don't need smite to get good loot from no itemers, yesterday twice a "kill me" dude came kicking me, and I got like 100k loot both times.

Too bad I thought warrior rings still are like 700k, but they're 150k :(

50 att 60 str 83 range, on clan trips I just keep msb spec activated and when someone appears I have a good chance of doing most of the damage when loads of people attack, so I get loot almost every time I att someone before he is dead…


After all school exams are over I'll get 60 att and 70+ str…

Hmm nice nice. Well my pure got 60 att 81 str 70 range 82 mage, 43 prayer. Is that good enough?

Everyone has 43 or 52 prayer, so it doesn't really matter if you're 52 instead of 43. NOT a good idea to keep below 43 prayer, if you've been on IRC you've heard me rage at people 10 levels above chasing me and thinking they're cool…

Oh yes, indeed, 44 is MANDATORY if you're a ranger.

Dont touch the defence. Get the range to 80-85+. Bh (no arm) or pvp.

Well it's fairly nice atleast in TLP, there's this dude who is kinda like frank at mopar, and then people generally think of new people as "newfags" (creative), but it's pretty nice, leaders are nice etc… Although we've had a bit of bad luck on trips (well this trip was damn nice, UNTIL we logged in on FOE and got buttsexed :p), we pretty much own equal sized pure clans on trips (FOE always masses like 25 more than us :()

Tank it would be best, 56 defence is never good to have. Get these stats :

80-99 ranged
70 attack - MAX
70 strength - MAX
70(+) defence
94(+) magic
44(+) prayer

And it'll be a good tank :).

I think pures can have smite.. if in big clans smiting agains prot from melee/ranged/mage.. it's effective, but I keep my pray 43.

Nope, I'm sorry not. I believe someone made this script before, but I didn't know that until my own script was finished, it was SRL-Members only afaik but outdated now.

Smite will make you sad :p.

Do a rampage in duel arena first ;) so you get along with them, get used to them.

Smite = fail.
I have 68hp, so 68 / 4 = I can be smited 17 pray MAX.
If I get smited and I know I'm lost (e.x: tbed & barraged): I don't eat.

If you've been on IRC you've seen me rage at the 10 lvl higher tanks that put smite on and think it's like "gf whip haha", I've got 3 ppots when pking at GE fuckers…

Man we can start our own srl-members mini clan, since alot of peeps pkay.

Then we need a neutral CC, so nobody risks losing worthy accounts if Jagex spies on us :p

I've done a good bit of testing with prayer vs no prayer.
I would stick with 1 prayer.

Take two accounts at the same combat, one with 1 prayer and the other with 43.
The account with 43 will be able to hit just barely higher and more accurately then the one with 1 prayer.
But this is only during the time you have attack AND strength prayers on.
Meaning if you only have strength prayer on, you will barely hit higher but a significant bit less accurate.
Also your prayer can only last a certain amount of time.
1 prayer is infinite.
You don't have to buy expensive prayer pots.
It's also one less thing to worry about while fighting.

But more to worry about with rushers/pjers. You can't prot from my claws then =]
And what about like hard quests? I did MM without pray though, but DT is harder.
