Just thought of a good money making idea, You mine iron, refine it, bank, once to the set amount, smith the bars, once smithed the bars, go to and sell at the grand exchange.

obviously as i jsut experinced the grand exchanged it crashes alot so alot of fail safes for it will be need like

if connction lost, re-login, check if iron bars = ininventory, if found, Procedure price check, price found, sell x amount for price

repeat script

else

if no iron bars found then

repeat script

iron bars sell generally for 240 - 250 iron ore cost 100
so maybe even make it simply buy then go smith, and sell the bars

Softening clay is a lot faster so therefore its a lot more profitable too.

Realy, atleast try to make a script ureself first before requesting it here. It's kinda lame to just ask free stuff without helping others. What you made isn't even close to a script.

Anyway's when using SMART, which every avarage or better script should have, you will notice that when entering the Grand Exchange SMART will crash.

Besides of that it would take ages to make a script walk between the bank, the mine, the furnace and the Grand Exchange. And then you got another problem. 50% of the iron ore will disapear when smelting it which makes it a waste of time for only a little amount of money.

If you want to train smithing anyway with iron, get a member account, buy some iron ore and buy yourself a ring of forging. Would make much more money.

we do like people trying to learn and not leech all the way, though this script is a really hard request, which will take a while for a beginner to do..

So it's not bad to request…

Ok, but every beginner should know better than things like "if connction lost, re-login"

i think that instead of making such a hybrid you break it down to parts.
Use an iron miner to get iron. Use a smelter to iron ore -> iron bar and then sell it yourself at GE. There's quite a few of each you need available in the forums.

I could start on a script which uses ring of forging, but all those components already exist like you mentioned.

I may be a begginer, i jsut havent had time to write anything myself for a game, when i have 5 module projects in for next month university work, flash(action scripting - with real time sources), creating interactive childs games for schools and others.

so when i have time i will put up a script

but as my ideas are seeing as a lack of guild miners and bankers i think i will start there, there are enough procedures and functions aroundin other scripts to help me out, but will ask to use first and will credit if anything is used, hope thats ok …


RM - thats how i do do it but i was just thinknig a way to automate it withouth changing scritps ect.

You don't need to appologize and there is no need to don't request again. It's just that i get anoyed of people who come here to get scripts, and not to help others. Just people who are here for money and xp only. If you are someone who is trying to learn scripting then it's ok for me, I would rather call it great!

off-topic : Is there perhaps a function which looks if you lost connection?
If not, it would be cool to have something like that(especially for people with bad connection)…

Maby something like "if loggedin=false then…" but I dont think it can see if you got connection or not.
