Please write down a paragraph about Yourself.

I have been scripting with scar almost 2 years-but not so largely all the time.
Started off simple scripts-AutoTalker, HighAlcher… walked slowly up to Wc-ers and fletchers, atm working on AutoTanner and fighter.
I have in mind a unique hybrid script, because its less detectabel but thats future-i wish to make one in some day… :P

FingSymbol(''); inst really the best for walking but how you used it is better I guess. You should just use other things for FailSafes.

AutoColor or a TPA would be better for your ClickRoad; Procedure. (and ClickRoad2)

procedure ToBank;
begin
if not LoggedIn then Exit;
SymbolAccuracy:= 0.8;
w:= 0;
repeat
if findsymbol(x, y, 'bank') then
begin
Mouse(x, y, 5, 5, True);
Wait(1000+random(200));
Flag;
Exit;
end;
w:= w + 1;
SymbolAccuracy:= SymbolAccuracy - 0.05;
until (w = 8)
or findsymbol(x, y, 'tanner');
if (w > 8) then
begin
writeln('Cant find Ellis house :S');
LogOff;
NextPlayer(False);
Exit;
end;
end;
What happened there, are you going to the bank or tanners house?
And again, try different failsafes.

A DTM would be good for HidesToInv as it would be more reliable and less detectable than co-ords.

Thats all I really have time for right now.I dont think you are quite ready for it this time. Good effort tho, stick with it and apply again in a month or so.

Sorry, but No this time.

I like it, though it is not ready to be a SRL member app.
You got the idea and all just a bit more and you got it.

Yea… there are a few problems with this script as of now although its not all that bad.

procedure HidesToInv;
begin
if not LoggedIn then Exit;
Wait(650+random(100));
h1x:= 41 + random(15);
h1y:= 97 + random(15);
Mouse(h1x,h1y,0,0,false)
Wait(650+random(83));
if not ChooseOption('ll') then
begin
writeln('Cant widraw hides :S');
LogOff;
NextPlayer(False);
end;
Wait(1600+random(150));
end;

If youre going to use coords try the built in SRL functions like BankIndextoMSBox and then mouse box. I agree that perhaps you should use a DTM instead because then the hides would not have to be in a specific bank spot.

  RoadColor1 := (GetColor(665, 70));
RoadColor2 := (GetColor(655, 75));
if not(RadialRoadWalk(RoadColor1, 40, 55, 60, -1, 0)) then
begin
if not(RadialRoadWalk(RoadColor2, 35, 60, 60, -1, 0)) then

If those points are in those radii then the radial walk will never fail. If you dont understand why that is: The color you are searching for was found from a point w/i the radius you are searching in. As such there will always be at least one point with the search color with in the radius. Thus there is no reason to failsafe with the same technique… Try to learn/use other techniques such as TPA's, DDTMs, etc. Also try to use autocolor rather that getting color from points. That can be quite unreliable. Also you dont have to call FFlag(10) after the radial walk… it has FFlag(5) in the function already.

Also just a suggestion: when you define the coords for the hide tanning you can put the default as constants and just add the randomness in the mouse procedures. To be really fancy you could make a hide TYPE and put the randomness as a variable in there and then call on something like x + hide[currenthide].xrandomness. If you dont understand that Im sorry haha. If you would like me to tell you more about that just say so. It would make the tanhides procedure look nicer and show that you have more advanced knolege though.

case lowercase(which) of
'ellis': begin
UpTextArray := ['Ellis','llis', 'lis'];
FindColorsSpiralTolerance(x, y, TPA, 3300744, MSX1, MSY1, MSX2, MSY2, 5);
end;

thats kind of pointless… the case statement is unneccesary.

So for now no but you have the potential to improve and get in later.

neeger

2009-02-25 04:32:33

Thanks guys for suggestions :P
Trying to fix those probles in next version.

markuska815 maybe you make a little example for "x + hide[currenthide].xrandomness" ? :)

thats kind of pointless… the case statement is unneccesary.

Just wanted to make all in one NPC finder, added only Ellis atm…

Just used RadialRoadWalk and findsymbol because its easy to make, but going to do all walking in DDTM's, can i add findsymbol as a failsafe case DDTM not found?

Naum

2009-02-25 11:33:23

Sorry no, just some things to improve your sript with.

1) Your procedure ToBank won't work:

procedure ToBank;
begin
if not LoggedIn then Exit;
SymbolAccuracy:= 0.8;
w:= 0;
repeat
if findsymbol(x, y, 'bank') then
begin
Mouse(x, y, 5, 5, True);
Wait(1000+random(200));
Flag;
Exit;
end;
w:= w + 1;
SymbolAccuracy:= SymbolAccuracy - 0.05;
until (w = 8)
or findsymbol(x, y, 'tanner');
if (w > 8) then
begin
writeln('Cant find Ellis house :S');
LogOff;
NextPlayer(False);
Exit;
end;
end;

Your until statement may fail if it doesn't find it the first time it probebly wont click it as it will time out as it find the symbol.

As you wanted it to click on the symbol turning it into this would:

procedure ToBank;
begin
if not LoggedIn then Exit;
SymbolAccuracy:= 0.8;
w:= 0;
repeat
if findsymbol(x, y, 'bank') then
begin
Mouse(x, y, 5, 5, True);
Wait(1000+random(200));
Flag;
Exit;
end;
w:= w + 1;
SymbolAccuracy:= SymbolAccuracy - 0.05;
until (w = 8)
or findsymbol(x, y, 'tanner');
if (w > 8) then
begin
writeln('Cant find Ellis house :S');
LogOff;
NextPlayer(False);
Exit;
End Else
Mouse(x, y, 0, 0, True);
end;

So if it isn't over 8 then it will click the symbol.

2)SymbolAccuracy is by default set to 0.8 ;)

3)No Case needed in findellis ;)

4)Your MS Varibale is useless ;). You could have set mousespeed directly instead of using another variable (MS)

5)Also in FindEllis you dont need your Result := False as all booleans are by default set to false.

6)Need an exit here:

           if not OpenBankFast('akb') then
begin
Writeln('Didnt find Bank =(');
LogOff;
NextPlayer(False);
Exit; //Needed here to exit :).
end;

7)Could shorten this

        if (count >= Invs) then
begin
Writeln('Player did all loads successfully =)');
LogOff;
NextPlayer(True);
end else
begin
Writeln('Playr has failed =(');
LogOff;
NextPlayer(False);
end;

to this:

        LogOff;
if (count >= Invs) then
Writeln('Player did all loads successfully =)');
else
Writeln('Playr has failed =(');

NextPlayer(count >= Invs);

Good Luck with your next app, I'm sure if you keep this up then you'll be in :)

No, Sorry.

Read up for why ^

markuska815

2009-02-25 23:04:50

so you can make a type… if you dont know types and records look at some tuts.

So here kind of a basic overview of what I meant… Its kinda sloppy cause i did it quickly but you should get the idea.

So the type would be:
type
HideProfile = record
Name : String;
Level : Integer;
X, Y : Integer;
Xrand, Yrand : Integer;
end;

var
Hide : HideProfile;

And you have the hide var as the hide the player wants to tan.

Then you can load the player hide like this:
procedure LoadHide(leather : String);
var
Hides : array[0..7] of HideProfile;
begin
With Hides[0] do
begin
Name := soft;
Level := 1;
X := 60;
y := 15;
Xrand := 90;
Yrand := 20;
end;
With Hides[1] do
...
With Hides[7] do
...

case leather of
'soft' : Hide := Hides[0];
...
'snake2' : Hide := Hides[7];
end;
end;

and then you could elimate that case statement and change the mouse statement to:

Mouse(Hide.X, Hide.Y, Hide.Xrand, Hide.Yrand, true);

Kinda complicated and I prolly explained it really bad so ask if you dont understand.

In Estonia we don’t feel that the usage of Estonian word “neeger” (i.e. Negro in English) is a racist behavior. It has nothing to do with the color of ones skin – it’s a description of the race similar to Caucasian and Asian – that’s what we were taught in the schools for three generations. Estonians are not using the term of “black person/nation” just because the translation can be understood as “dirty (dingy, impure) person/nation”. Similarly we don’t see racist behavior in dressing as Chinese and serving the tea on the street. Or dressing as black and shining the shoes.

Now that we are done deciding if it is a "slur", a cuss word, an insult or whatever else it might be, can we go back to the application?

i pretty much think that settled the issue, it's not an attitude problem, just happenned. Maybe it was an attitude problem at a time, but with such a mature answer i think we can overlook the fact.

The scripts looks alright to be honest.

Sorry, but it is a no from me.

The first issue I have is that you use WAY to many hard coded values. All that it will take is a runescape update and BAM, your script is broken. Instead of using so many hard coded values (eg, x11 = 293; y21 = 209) look up SRL functions that will do this for you. If none exists then make your own. It is always better to dynamically generate a number (IE get it from runescape) then it is to statically declare it (hard coded values)

Keep hard coded values to a minimum. If you have any, assign them a constant name and place that constant at the top of the script(if you use it in more then one place)/function(if it is only used in that function). Then end goal is to make you script harder to break.

For your leather finder, it would have been much better to use a DTM or DDTM to get the leather then just GetColors at the various locations. A DTM would have avoided the problem of the bank inventory shifting around the screen (or the screen getting larger).

The script has the features I want to see, but it doesn't display enough programming skill for me to say yes. Improve it, and I will say yes.

Instant no for the name. But, the script has some glitches as well. My biggest point was that you used a TPA without an ATPA. That's pretty bannable and quite slow. Good luck in the future!

They are said pretty much the same.

I understand, Rasta Magician. The debate is now over.

I havent voted, as I know my vote would be bias.

I am AMAZED by how none, NONE of our voting members said anything about the NextPlayer calls in the middle of the script! Shame on you…

Yes. The script is pretty basic, but it shows quite an attempt.
You've used cases, and done some walking.
As far as walking goes DDTMs would be better for this area but if yours probably does the job fine.

The poll is now closed. Unfortunately it seems like you won't make it in next time. Do not give up. Practice makes perfect.

You can apply again, in one month.
