Just recently (about a month ago) my computer started acting up on me, it would restart, and was having physical problems.

About last week, after it turned off again, my brother attempted to turn it back on. We then heard a loud popping sound, and the air stunk like burnt plastic.

So, your probably wondering why I am telling you this…

Well, I was working on my script on my old computer, and being the dumb person I am, I forgot to make a backup of everything when my computer was acting up, so I lost everything, including the script.

After contumplating with my family, we decided to get a new computer, because the old one was a piece anyway.

We ended up getting a Compaq Presario, with 960 MB of RAM, and an AMD athlon™ 64 Processor, 3500+ 2.19 Ghz.
Not the greatest computer, but a masterpiece compared to my old one.
We also got a new 19" monitor, and $90 Altic Lansing 2.1 speakers.

We are hoping to get the documents, and stuff recovered of the old computer, so hopefully I will have my script back soon!

You know what I just noticed, there is something wierd about this forum and bolding. Like everyone but me bolds stuff XD

damn cheesehunk, your only mistake in getting a new computer is not building your own ;)

does everyone here have a better computer than me –= Yes =– , saying that compys not so good would be like saying……would be like saying…….it would be like saying something that ill think up l8er when im super bored and thinking about this forum. anyway, ur comp can play all the lastest games, as nicer computers are being released 2 the public faster than blizzard can release.

your only mistake in getting a new computer is not building your own

My brother wanted to build his own computer. Since he knows nothing about electronics i could only laugh at the thought of him blowing up ;)

He'd probably put the ram in the hardrive section or something.

Anyways, my mom's old boss, is the one who is fixing it, and he is pretty knowledgable with computers.

I would never build my own computer, I don't know enough about them.. yet!



Also, I only bold my posts because I copied Fakawi, and it looks more intellegent, and makes it easier to read without being distracted by stuff..(In Sdcit's case, Kane, Driger, Pwnd, pretty much and guy…:p Jokes, of course.)

The computer wasn't a bad price either, and it came with a wicked speaker system for $50 cheaper! Not sure if I mentioned that before?
