Release level?

Macro Script: A reflection script that can be many different kinds of scripts. You do one or two loads legit, and it watches what you do, and then carries on from there. It wouldn't be able to do stuff that requires too many decisions, just mostly collecting (miners, wcers, pickers) and using (fletching, herblore, cooking).
Hypothetically, if there was such as a thing as a Macro Script, what level would it be released in?

heh dev + or ssrl+ i'd say :/ wonder how the hell you're thinking of doing it… if you need any help / want to share the workload let me know :p

So basically like an action recorder?

SSRL or members I'd say.

SSRL+.
You could make some plugin that records every important part happening in their own threads (Unless something like 30 threads is bad, I don't know…), and then the plugin tells a script what is going on and the script has a case or something.

ooh i want to help make this unless you have it all figured out? Still curious but I could see some ways of doing it.
I'd say SSRL+ for now then later maybe release to members?

SSRL+. Because any higher, I wouldn't get it ;).
I wouldn't advise going below SSRL though, it seems a pretty powerful tool and we don't have the maturest of members…

When it's finished testing, just release it to the the public.
For testing purposes, Developers. ( Because all the SSRL'ers are greedy. ;) )

That would be good as. Personally I see no reason for it not to be released to the junior member section. Every script run will be unique, so theres really no chance it will be noticeable if it gets abused, therefore quite undetectable for good if people make the actions non-botlike
Anyone who says otherwise without providing reasons is just greedy. :p
Sort of a throwback to the old .exe autoers, lol

haha! i would have to contradict you because i suggested a place where i wouldn't have access! ha!
…unless i don't count as ssrler anymore >.>

I had the idea the other day, and atm that is all it is, or may ever be. For it to be one seamless script, I think Ben would have to add a mode to SMART where it can use reflection and accept user input. Otherwise, it would have to be one script that runs off config files and another to make the config files. Hopefully, it would encourage people to make more interesting scripts (Ratz, LAME etc), as it would reduce the need for most standard scripts (assuming users didn't need to use only non-reflection scripts). For this reason, I'm thinking not juniors. The question is whether it would cause more laziness or creativity in members. If the answer is laziness, I probably wouldn't bother with putting in the work if only the few of us in SSRL would be using it, as it would be more effiecient for us to make more specialized scripts.
Anyway, it won't matter for a while. I need to finish the global walking system first for this to be possible, and maybe a couple other basics. Plus I want to wait to see what jagex is going to do about randoms first; if they knock us down to crawling, there's no point in trying to sprint.

Members.
With the right hooks, you should be able to access user input, no?

What do you mean?

Well, depending how RS handles input it might be possible to see what a user is doing via reflection. I'm not sure though; it's probably only possible through bytecode engineering.

I think you're confusing what Boreas is trying to get at a little bit - none of the functions of SMART work unless it is enabled, which means our input is blocked. Therefore, we can't record the client and interact manually at the same time.

If you use a neural method, SSRL, if not, lower.

Like a network. Although you could just simply have it record the item you click on and create a DDTM and get the uptext, grab a few colors, generate an autocolor method inside your script.

This is not a color script as far as I know, with a powerful script like this you'd have limited abilities with color, knowing the objects and items clicked, tiles walked etc. gives you much more flexibility on how to do the stuff…

Yea it was going to be reflection, but I'm not going to do it now.

I wanted to do something like this a ways back with color but I never got started. I would certainly be interested in helping with this project.
Edit: It took me a while to read your post above this one.
