Broken pick axe prices are sky rocketing now that they can't be obtained anymore. Do you think jagex is going to do something to get rid of these? Because they have stated before that they hate discontinuted items like the santa hat and everything because the events were meant to be fun, not for massive profit.

I'm checking through my autos now… I've got to have at least 1 broken pick axe :)

Edit: Or did they delete all of these items from people's bank to avoid more discontinued items?

Heh, I must buy pickaxes and break them!
And woodcutting axes.

Although I doubt anyone would want to buy broken picks/axes..

they're gonna be non tradeable or they will just take them out of the game..

The worst they could do is end up just turning all broken pick axes into fixed ones. They wouldn't just delete items out of your bank…

But anyways, I found a broken rune pick and broken bronze axe on 2 of my autoers :) Lets see if they make me a few mil… *crosses fingers*

as of Feb. 3, the price start shooting wayyy up. I believed what you said, but I didn't think it'd be that much of a dramatic increase.

Well… I bought a couple of thou' broken pickaxes and handles :) We will see whether they will be removed….

Pretty sure there is a GE limit?

they stated it in the forum no more rare items….

cause alot of people were making fake rumors that iron pick or something i forgot what it was…

and than rs stated dont buy no more rare items :)

Please read above posts before posting! It has been stated clearly that Jagex is not intending to add more "rares" into the game.

No, this won't happen, Jagex clearly said there wouldn't be any more Discontinued Items added into the game, that holiday events were supposed to be "fun"(which is rarely the case, mostly boring) instead of "profitable".

well i have a few broken rune axes and broken picks so i havemy *fingers* crossed
been buying them since they stated no more smoking rocks and ents

the prices went from broken rune picj from 20036 to 20746 in 1 night :o and from 20736 to 25*** in a day aswell

Now jagex will probally keep the Randoms because of people thinking it will be a rare item.

#1. why? Jagex has it all planned out, its not like they play it by ear…

#2. I would still buy b-picks and handles for the next week then sell. Cause i don't believe they will be dicontinued.

I got 5 broken rune pick axes, 2 addy, 1 mith, no iron, and 10 bronze.

and a couple of pick axe sticks and pick heads.

They will either be removed, or made non-tradeable. From what I've read, Jagex does not intend on creating any more rare items.

Well the price of rare items is ruined anyway i left rs bought a santa fort yeah yeah yeah came back and its worth screw all lol.
