Whats up with RsBot? Ive been getting an 500 internal error message everytime Ive tried to log on, for like 1 week, are they being attacked?

Amusing. They have a post titled "About "500 Internal Server Error" messages when browsing the site.", but I get a 500 Internal Server Error when I try to read it.

Edit: Here is what it says:

For security and reliability purposes I have backup scripts running on the fifteenth minute of every third hour. Due to the combined IO strain and compression algorithm I have chosen this process exhausts the CPU and memory for the entire 60-180 second duration. Consequently the web server backend prevents spawning new request handlers which would leak into swap space and instead short circuits to the static 500 errors which does not incur any significant overhead.

Please do not be alarmed when this happens. In future I may tweak my methods to use less aggressive optimisation techniques. In the meantime if you do experience it just refresh after a minute or two. Thanks.

Methinks there is another problem, though, since the errors are not simply occurring when he says they should.

Yea same with me too, i discovered it yesterday to report a bug i found in rsbot

As senrath said, they're not actually down, it's just some stupid useless security script he's running… Refresh about 20 times every time you click a link there and you can see it, but…Yeah, kind of pointless at the moment.

RsBot works but the way to get in is the most ridicilous way Ive ever seen..

I heard theres a temp forum up but its only for VIP users :/ Its been a week now though should get fixed soon

idk if thats true. im a vip user and i havent seen anything about this :/ then again i havent been able to login

Read Da Owners post, This is SRL-Forums, not RSBot's. Anyhow, refresh it until you access it, pointless to whine on everything, you can still get access to the forums with the refreshing, be happy that you have that option, it's better than nothing.
Should be closed imo.

If you ment that this thread shud be closed, then no, cuz people might wana know why and then this will answer it :)

RSbot, I wouldn't suggest using it.

Junk Anti-Randoms, and modifys the java for Runescape. Most likely you'll get your account banned.

I heard about RsBot before SRL but went here first.(Glad I did) Then I couldn't go on their website to try out RsBot because of the 500 thing. A friend got on and got RsBot about a week ago and has already got a 10 day ban lol. So I think its better to stay away O.O
