Oh right my mom would sorta do the same thing. Except she would unplug the modem from the phone, way back then, took me years to understood why the internet magically stopped when my mom told it to.

Reminds me in a way of myself when I was younger (although MUCH more mild than this kid.) See we never had a computer except for a crappy mac that broke after a few months until I was in 2nd or 3rd grade. For some reason my parents decided to modernize and splurge and bought a Ps2 and kick-ass computer (32 megs of ram!!! lol.) Well anyways I went like a bat out of hell and the devil himself couldn't have torn me away from my video games. I was kinda like that deprived kid whose parents control their lives then when they're out of high school they go on a rebellious streak. I had been watching my friends' n64's and ps1's with jealousy for years, and I became too obsessed with video games. But I got older, moved on, made friends, and now I'm (somewhat) normal :p
