I was playing PSP at home, I went to the toilet and slipped on my carpet while walking, my PSP fell on the floor and broke.

I've had it 2 years now, the garantee is off.

I never dropped it before (note the 1 Hit k0).

Is it normal that PSP's are that easy to break ?!

God I'm pissed now !

I can send it in for a repair at the cost of : 140 € !!! (139.99 actually but…) oh my god !!! Thats so expensive, I'd rather buy a new PSP instead of paying for a repair !

How much are they new now?

PSP 2000 : 149.99 €

PSP 3000 : 199.99 €

I think I'm taking the 2000, only difference is that 3000 has a micro -.-

It only cost 10 more to buy a new one then to repair one?!

PSP 1000 is the best of them all
yes it may be chunkyer but you can do a lot more with them

Huh. My friends have dropped their PSPs multiple times, and they still work properly.

My PSP = dropped ~40 times, not a single scratch :s

Steal one? Not that hard, but if you want to do things the hard way.
Go on Craigslist and buy one for like ~$100.

or do what I did and pay someone to steal one, i paid 35 bucks for my psp. lol.

If you know what is specifically broken about it, you could probably fix it yourself for a lot cheaper - I broke my ipod's screen and got a replacement screen for about $15 (CAD).

if your psp still looks new (not scratched) buy a new one from a store and bring in the old one in the box, say it didnt work when you bought it

Person of course, a store you could get caught and go to jail because thats over $20,100,150 theft limit, it's on of those.
if it's under those then they just call your parents and a PSP is over all those.

Bought a new one for 130€ on Ebay with 6 more games, works perfectly :).

Buckley : I really don't like your idea, just so you know, I hate all stealers and such ;).
