We all know we can start scar with CTRL+ALT+R
and stop smart with CTRL+ALT+S

i wonder if jagex can detect this and keep this players at high macro alert or something??

Anyone know more about this issue?

No.

Plenty of other applications use those shortkeys. Not plenty, but enough for jagex to give up on this line of detection.

Can Java detect keys? I know F-keys but normal keys? Like.. Keylogging?

Well…they know when we type into the chatbox, right?

I think they know if we press ctrl alt r.. but you can change hot keys/just press play.. :p

and I don't think they care if you press ctrl alt r.. they probably think we're just doing a hot key for some random thing..

(also.. they can't ban us for typing bad things if we don't enter them, so they can't ban us for this ;))

It can detect any keys you press…but only if the client has focus, or if it's using JNI and then it wouldn't be able to run on anything other than windows.

It's not a question if they can, it's a question of if they're doing so, I'm fairly certain they're not as it's an incredibly unreliable way to detect… Aside from the fact that the shortkeys are changeable, you can be pressing them for any number of applications…

I think you mixed it up, when smart is ENABLED meaning smart is using red cursor, not your mouse, then RS doesn't read your mouse movements and keystrokes, but rather smart's, but when it is disabled, it reads you movements and keystrokes and not smart's.

when I mean by "disabled" I meant if you see the button "disable smart", that is why I mentioned the button afterwards. Sorry for misleading you:)
