Some random events will be removed from the game. Poison-gas chests, smoking rocks, broken pickaxes and ents will become things of the past. The Drunken Dwarf will be retired as a random event, but he'll still be free to roam the world, handing out kebabs to his mateys. You'll still be able to obtain shade robes, strange fruit and security books; we do not intend to discontinue any existing rewards.

Well … autoing isn't really a huge way to make money anymore since the update so i'm sure they worry a little less about botters. I still remember the good old days when there would be like 25 lvl 3's in lumby cutting willows :P

Yeah, thats definitely what it seems like to me… As long as everyone keeps up with smart and reflection working, we should be fine. ColorBased Solvers will probably have a lot of problems.

I agree with most ppl saying their just getting smarter about their bot handling, in reality they probably wouldn't care if ppl that didn't bot didn't complain so much.

17 day old post. Not quite a gravedig but OK :p
Hopefully RSBot doesn't solve the unsolvables (Which atm for them is - Demon Drill, Mardaut, Quiz, Scaperune Island, Frog is buggy). I think Jagex is mainly worried about RSBot. So, if they're concentrated on them, whoo go SRL :)

I agree. Since RSBot actually uses the packets sent from the server, they will be more concentrated on that. I'm not saying SRL is invincible, but our system is pretty humanistic and they aren't probably looking to catch something that isn't hacks the client. Just my two cents.

What does it use then? It has to do use something from the server. I always thought that it was a packet client. All you really need is a packet sniffer.

RSBot uses BCEL to modify the game client. As far as I'm aware Autorune was the last packet bot which jagex killed off by encrypting the packets

RSBot is an injection bot, which injects accessor methods into the game client using BCEL.
Reflection and Injection both read the client, it isn't much different to the end user but it's different in the core…
