SRL Archive - Banned from RS

My main has been banned for 10 days, I now have 5.6 blackmarks. I logged off for a few minutes then find out my account's been disabled, pretty gay. I guess when I get my account back I won't auto for like a week or two. I think I only got .5 blackmarks and I only got 10 days because I'm a member though, so that's good I'm at least not perm banned.

I blame Nava for forcing me against will to test his Abyss Crafter :p just playing. I'll just have to auto a little bit more cautiously.

Lol same i got a banned last week for 10 days and tht was my frist ever ban but i still gotta wait 3 more days :(

this is my second autoing offense, first time I also got 10days but I think I got 5 blackmarks that time. at least I didn'tget another 5 this time though, then I'd have 10.1 blackmarks and might be perm banned. So, anyone else get caught recently?

did you read anything? the title AND in what I wrote in the thread both say 10 days, it is not a perm ban. don't post just to get your post count up.

So, do you get temp banned after 5BM?
I wonder if there's even a real system or if they just ban people on a whim…

no you get temp banned depending on what you do, and almost everyone believes it depends on whether your member or not for how sever the punishment is such as temp/perm ban for rule 7 (autoing)

You always get once chance to be unbanned, its called last chance appeal. If it is successful, you are unbanned and unmuted and if you break any more rules you are banned with no chance of unban.

Ah my account is banned too today. What is this?

Tons of people have been banned from RSBot recently too. Most notably after the Tuesday (or was it Wednesday?) System update which seemingly did nothing.

Luckily my 3 24/7 autoers have been going for a week and still going strong :)

you think that seemingly pointless system update was to catch bots better? Well I have me and two other people's accounts I auto on. Me and one of the other people I auto for got banned the same day, I just got banned like 30 minutes or so before my friend. But the other friend has been botting since then on my computer and hasn't gotten caught yet, and us 3 were all using the same script. So they caught 2 out of 3 of the autos on my computer, I don't know why they didn't get the 3rd. But I think it is possible they improved their system

It might have been, but the main reason there were a lot of bans that particular was because for some reason RSBot kept trying to log in over and over on that particular day after the update (AFAIK it doesn't usually do that). So the people who checked their accounts 10 hours after the update found them still trying to log in == ban. But the bans that day aren't the only ones that happened recently. There's maybe 5-8 threads right now saying they got banned today or yesterday.

i was banned the other day, but i appealed and they unbanned me! :)

Actully is ok to be banned if you know what i mean because then u can make an pure and level that up for example wheen i got a 10 day ban i amde a pure and allready got 502 total points with 63 mage :) so is ok but perm ban on ur main is just not nice :P

yea I know man, I saw so many recent threads here bout bans, it's crazy, so many bans from SRL in the same 1-3 days. I think we need to improve on something maybe, whether it be playing more human like (like mouse and keyboard, but I think that's pretty good), sleep times (logging in/out), wait times between clicking to be more human reaction time + random time. There must be something we can improve to lower the chances EVEN more.

I do think the mouse needs to be improved, it is a little bit jerky and it always hits the right colored pixel without going to far or too short on the game screen.
