I am Niixu and I am currently making a new program - Instant Simpsons. Just as the title suggests, the program is designed to make watching Simpsons an instant thing. I am making the buttons and such needed, I will also upload my own Simpsons episodes, all of course in High Detail ;)
Now, what could YOU do for me? Very simple, I want you all to report any broken links to me, so I may fix it and launch a new, working version of it :)
IS will be ready in 1-2 weeks, it will be a hard thing to code it, as it will be very hard to keep track of the movie urls and such, but with your help, IS will be great and function 100% 24/7 :)
I would like it if you could all vote that if you would ever support me in this and help me out (by reporting dead links to me) if I get enough people that will support me, I will of course release IS to this forum aswell :)

Are you ripping the html code from streaming sites and taking the url from the video and download it to your application?

@Buck - Im someone that u know ;) and the process is simple :
I upload,Copy the Movie URL and put it into a Shockwave player Component and thus my program is able to play the wanted episode :)
Edit : This process is done by 3 programs to acctualy get the movie url so its not that simple.

If your using SCAR the Shockwave component won't work.

My friend has joined me and he is currently making sure that the URLs are not traced, so they wont die and he is also making an updater for the program.
Also expect this program to be done within days from now ;)

Pssh. Why not make it automatically find the links and offer them for the users (as you're obviously copying them from some "watch the simpsons online" site)? Not really a huge challenging project, atleast as of what I know about VB6.
