Chapter 1: Setting up Scar
chapter 2: Some basic's
Chapter 1: Setting up scar
Okay by know i assume you have scar and the latest S.R.L. includes if you do then we will begin if not go find a tut on how to get them and come back.
Now when you open scar you will see the following
Program New; this is your program name for standards the first letter of each new word in your script name must be caps there are no spaces in your scripts name.
example.. program WoodCutter;
begin this tell scar that you are starting the main loop there are no ";"s after begin's for every begin you need a end
end. this tells scar that you are ending the main loop add a period after the last end only!!!
Pretty easy as this point correct?
Now to use the srl. functions you have to add the include so right after your program name you add this {.include srl/srl.scar}. This will tell scar that you are using the srl functions. You may add more includes which you will learn later on when you become a better scripter.
By now your script should look a little like this.
This is good you have made it past chapter one take a break for you don't get to tired get a drink or a little snack then proceed to chapter 2.
Chapter 2: Some basic's
Now that you have learned the basic structure of scar lets begin with the funtions.
Right now i will list some functions that will help you get started.
Mouse(x,y,ranx,rany,true/false);
TypeSend('text');
Writeln('text');
Now i will explain how to use each and what they do.
Mouse(x,y,ranx,rany,true/false);
This function will move the mouse to the coordinates that you have entered into the variable's x,y with a randomness of what you put in ranx,rany then will right click or left click on the spot declared.
How to set this up.
Mouse(453,234,2,2,true);
This will move the mouse to the coordinates 453,234 with a randomness of 2 for each cord and then left click. True=left click..False=right click.
Typesend('text');
This function will type what is in the apostrophe mark's its quite self explanatory.
Writeln('text');
This function will type in the debug box what is in the apostrophe mark's.
These 3 functions are quite use full you can find more in the includes folder.
To find the coordinates you look for the little water dipper it will tell you the color of the spot and the cords
This is all for now will be adding more
