maybe make the srl use the quick chat to talk so its more realistic…:garfield:
that would be pretty easy..
but.. not really realistic cuz caught bots usually use qc :p
it's a lot faster to just type.. and you're not as limited

actually, i was thinking this the other day
run scripts specific to QuickChat worlds… because it is very limited, therefore it is easier to narrow down an answer
for example, an autoresponder could just be; finding the qc bubble and choosing a random number & every so often throw in a "What is your level in <skill>?"
I guess you could…
nobody would report you unless you didn't talk..
might be a good idea :\
SOOO MANY autoers at quick chat only world lol..
go to lvl 1 security's goblin and find out

SOOO MANY autoers at quick chat only world lol..
go to lvl 1 security's goblin and find out
exactly, an easy quick chatter would be worth it
But why would any normal person go to quick chat world any ways?
I think the REAL REASON jagex created quick chat (AKA macro world In my opinion) is simply to see who is macroing and who is not.
that, and for muted people.. >.>
if you got muted then used these worlds, it would be anti ban :p
guess what… jagex doesn't care if you are muted….
Its true….They'll just think your not muted and your not responding…
Don't believe me?
I meant if someone made a qc replier..

I thought of using a qc autoresponder for scripts before it's easy enough, but that's a pretty good idea using a qc world. And also there is an option saying I can only use qc so maybe say that randomly when people talk to you like one out of every five people you say it to or if(random(5)>4) then) then so it randomly says it to about 20% of the people you talk to. I think this is a pretty good idea, the only annoying part would be finding out the keys to answering alll the questions =p.
that would be easy :)
and if you weren't in a qc world, you should say it whenever it finds your name or something..
if you're in a qc world then it wouldn't want to say it.. cuz everyone in a qc world can only use qc :p

good suggestion baked,
that's very true
and Main_ftw, i played on qc world for a week before i quit rs
i hate stupid people who flame each other on the game - so *cool*
…and i played on it when i got muted for fun

We have an include in the misc folder for quick chat: SRL/SRL/Misc/QuickChat.scar

i like the idea. As far as i've heard once the SRL Scripting competition #4 has ended, the winners AutoResponder might be added to SRL. maybe then we can work on it to use quick chat too?
Or were you guys thinking of just a QuickChat Responder? (would work better in qc worlds)
if so, somone would have to get all the possible things to be said in qc.

As we all know, the current scripting competition with elite autoresponders is currently being judged by Wizzup?. I've seen one of the autoresponders in this competition, and it was pretty good, I do expect the other ones to be about equally good.
Anyway, if you really wanted an autorespoder that uses QuickChat to reply, just edit the soon-to-be-announced-winner's responder and make it use QC.scar (found in /misc folder).

Then again if someone talks to you in QC then you can press "f9" and pick the autoresponding choice….it'll be easier for the bot =)
