No, sorry.

There are minimal fail safes, no TPA's (Except FindObjTPA()),
There are no DTM/DDTM's, no multiplayer (The basis of SRL).

Its too simple imo.

better luck next time. Try to learn DTMs'/DDTM's, Custom TPA's are a big ++, multi player is basically needed, so try and learn that.

Sorry

No too basic buddy

btw: username and pass

too simple sorry, and put Antirandom/ban inside the procedures, not in main loop

it's much cleaner

i changed your pass, and sent it to you :)
having a quick look on it…

Edit: heh, i guess it's a account purely for testing?

Lucky he posted in members, so no one would steal it :)

Anyways, I'm going to have to vote no aswell, for reasons above, but I hope you learn more and apply again in 2 weeks.

There have been cases where even SRL memebers have taken an applicants account. This is very dishonering…

I changed password, and PM'ed

So you have another account here? (Leather cock..)

That is against the rules, and also my main reason for voting no, along with your simple object finding techniques.

I voted yes.

I'm sure you will do grea scripts soon although this one is a simple one. It is well coded with good logic, and the fact that you know delphi (and some java) will make it much easier for you to learn scar + srl scripting fast and well.

My vote will not really get you into SRL Members because i don't really expect many people to share the same oppinion as me and 1 vote out of 10 isn't really all that much.

But i do think that having a programing background (as i had myself) makes it much easier.

I changed the name Leather Cock to Smarter Kid.

Yes.

Ehh well you guys are right. I actually rushed this onto the application, the script isn't done yet. I'll try later with a better script.

Edit: If i use Cazax tree finder will it affect my chances for srl mem?

Use it at first; when the script works, make your own. :)

4 yes :O

lol no DTM's
nor TPA's
or RRW

sorry, a no, not good enough yet :(

What factors do you need:
  • DTMs / DDTMs
  • Decent complex working script.
  • FailSafes
  • Use and knowledge of functions and there results
  • MultiPlayer
  • Break out of potential endless loops
  • Standards! Required to get people read your script.
  • RadialWalk / DDTM Walking
if you allready have some points don't mind them :)

How do we judge it?

looking at the code, standaards. and whe imagen if it's working yes or no.

How many lines of code do you need

I would say 300+.
Make sure you got fail saves for evry possible option that could be going wrong.

well….

I hope this helped ya. good luck scripting!

since when is standarts a requirement and a reason to say no? Have a look at srl. Not everythign uses standarts "the right way". as long as it is fairly easy to read it's fine. Standarts help him because it makes it easier for us to read. but using the same standarts as kaitnieks is not required.

I don't use "proper" standarts.

Neither do I in Cases.

But I still think (SOME FORM OF) Standards should be a requirement, I don't like scripts like :

Procedure MainLoop;
begin
setup;
loginplayer;
findnormalrandoms;
repeat
soften;
bank;
until(false);
end;

i don't really see the similarity between what you posted and the script he submitted.

It wasn't supposed to be similar, I just wanted you to agree that SOME FORM of standards is required.

Tootoot222

2009-01-22 15:47:38

I'm going to vote NO:

it's much too simple, much too short.

ChopTree totally fails. (having better standards would show you where you went wrong)

SymbolAccuracy:= 0.2; <- I find that 0.4 is more then enough, even in an extremly crouded bank.

Not enough failsafes.

NO MULTIPLAYER. (a main quality of a SRL script)

sorry, it doesn't cut it

2009-01-22 18:06:33

Ok im changing the script for my next application. So far i added DTM's to replace the FindSymbols and i am adding RadialWalk for running away from randoms. I'm adding FindObjTpa for the tree finding. I used ok standards and well i might put in an Ent Finder and a broken axe fixer. What else do i need?
