Well i got bored and wrote this up
this was made for real life but i doubt anyone will use it :p (you will see why)
Just get these ingrediants and follow these instructions to make your own homemade fish food :D

Equipment:

Fish
pestal and motar
Tray
Pot
Water
Bowl

Instructions:

1. Firstly take your fish and kill them, the usual way of this is by emptying the pot/tub/tank they are in through a sieve so that they have no water therefore drowning them, then put them in your bowl.
2. Once the fish are dead (usually about 10 minuites later) put them in to the pestle and motar with water and grind them into a fine paste (do not worry if the guts or an eye falls out just gring them up).
3. Once you have a fine paste, spread evenly and thinly on your try trying to get it as thin as you can, make sure you dont have any lumps of eye in there as this can stop the fish by eating the food.
4. When you have spread the paste thinly over a flat surface you will need to leave it to dry for a few days so it drys up and becomes hard.
5. When the paste is dry and hard pick it up with your fingers and break it up into small flakes (if you mode it thin enough then it should break as soon as you try to touch it).
6. Once it has been broken up into small flakes you can put them into your tub and use it as if you bought it from the store.
7. Watch your fish enjoy your fish enjoy your home made fish food.
8. When a fish dies you can repeat steps 2-7 with that fish to make more fish food.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy the fish food, instead of killing an expensive fish to make the food?

I could see if you found one of your fish dead, but that would void step 1.

Believe it or not, that's what a lot of commercial fish food is. Just with other stuff added.

most fish food is what i have said just instead of using normal fish they use plankton and krill

That's why my friends think it's weird and unhygenic when I sniff the fish food.

This is pretty cool I didn't know this. Now I know a free way for fish food, go catch some fish and kill them hahah, but I don't have a fish to feed my dead fish to… oh well once it warms up I'm gonna go catch some fish and make them paste :f:
