This is serious stuff. The guy created a different account because his last was banned, and joined the SRL members again.

He has already contributed a lot, Should he stay a member?

I must tell you this, i can't hide this, I had another account here but it was banned. It was banned for password stealing script. It was iroki, i know that it was very bad, i dont know how to explain why i was so stupid. I want to prove that i'm trust eable, i'm sorry guys. I thnk that you understand.

but the main argument against sandstorm was that we didn't feel we could trust him yet, while on the other hand manfromczech has proven himself trustful countless times already by receiving accounts, solving the randoms and giving the accounts back intact(sp?).

but whoever makes a post announcing whatever decision has to either be very very careful about it… or if you don't think he deserves forgiviness then i guess there won't be a problem making the post.

I think we should forgive him. Perhaps change his "Best Newcomer" to "Miserable User" or something. I think he would actually support that, since he voluntarily "came out of the closet" so to speak.

I think he might even WANT a little ding like a Miserable User cup to help assuage his guilt and identify him as someone that once did something very bad. I think he wants to acknowledge that as a way to put it behind him and move forward.

Weren't we planning on polling in for SSRL? Where does that stand now?

Nah, I wasnt. You cant keep things like these a secret. If iroki wants to tell it, he will sooner or later. Or perhaps he made a stupid "chat" mistake. I say, keep his thread up for another 20 hours or so. Give everybody his/her say, and then I will demember him, and accompany this with a PM. Sounds ok?

Than we'd have the same situation with hey321/sandstorm.

EDIT: IMHO, forgiving is out of the question.

He is contributing a lot now. Prison Pete and Mime so far, he also says that Mordaut is coming along.

De-memberize him for sure but put him in the same boat as Hey321/Sandstorm.

Make ALL his plugins though be open source to the admins/devs to make sure they don't send out any information.

I'm getting shit of this bending crap etc, if people do stupid shit they must be punished, not warned, I'd say he can apply for members but proceeding further in the community will require greater efforts.

No, that's is not my intention… :) Same procedure as Hey321/Sandstorm

So is this what we do now for account stealers or could I go steal a few accounts and become a regular member with my first cup? =|

Its as simple as that yes. This way we will be able to monitor their behaviour. Or would you rather see such a person register under a new name and start all over?
