I'm slowly making progress in Java, due to being lazy, but when I manage to think of something to make I like it…

If your school for example, doesn't give pupils the privilidges to download anything, you can put this to your private pastebin or something and copy from there, or send it to your own email (I think our school lets do download only from few verified places, or then atleast blocks exes classes etc) and use this to download from a link :)

Sauce is included.

Btw it saves to the same folder as it is in.

why does it have to be a GUI?

It's more user friendly than having to open it up in command line and giving the address as an arg :/

Because at schools they usually block commandlines renderring this useless?

you're going the wrong way about it,
your way would mean we have to make a whole new app for every trivial task.

just make your own command line

Nice work n3ss3s, I like the GUI :) Easier, and more noob-friendly.

But to be honest, at my school, no applications are allowed to be executed, ever. Anything you click on will deny you if it does not open with "msword.exe", etc. It is quite annoying. Though, you can download files all you want, as long as the URL is unblocked ;)

It is quite nice though. It is like Internet Download Manager, only yours is multi-platform, free, and open source :)

Well there are not much hackers or script kiddies in Finland, mostly just people that get pissed at MS Word and shit, but the computers have Eclipse so you can just use that to run :)
