Used an AUS pin in the US?

I was wondering - I recently bought a PBP membership pin from a guy who got it in Australia. First I tried redeeming it while having the "Where are you located" thing that Jagex asks at USA. Obviously, it didn't work. I changed it to Australia, expecting some sort of error come up saying that I'm not really in Australia, but, it actually worked. Now, I'm just worried - Can anything bad come of this? People are always making sure that the pin seller is from the same country, and I don't get why if you can just change the country:\

Yeah, I don't either. I just don't get why people don't do this all the time, instead of looking for someone from the same country…

Security Reasons maybe? I really have no idea. I've never done it.

Should be fine, I've done it in reverse before by using a USA pin in Australia. If anything comes up tell Jagex it's your brother/parent buying you members while they're on holiday or some bs, as they allow family to buy members for each other.

I've sold many Norwegian pins to SRL-Members, they did not experience problems. :)

Does something like this usually happen, or has a bug occurred? - Since I posted this (2.5 days ago), the number of membership days (31) on the welcome screen has not changed

Jagex gives you like 3 extra free days the first time you have been a member if not been one in the past 14 days. In a few days it will go down.

[OFFTOPIC] I used to pay with membership by credit card for many months (probably over a year) until the credit card had insufficient funds just like 3 weeks ago, I got a pre-paid RS card from Target and when I used it to get membership JaGex said when I used it something like "Due to your loyalty to the game you have been given an extra 5 days." so they do give extra days sometimes, so Hy's probably right bout getting 3 extra days.
