Suspicious?

Don't you think this is a little suspicious to JaGeX?

I've never gotten anything like it before in a normal browser, has anyone else?

Also, SMART loads everything anew when you run it, it doesn't use files already cached on your computer, aren't there stories about accounts being banned/blackmarked after deleting their comp. preferences too much? (I believe wizzup? posted something about that). Wouldn't this be kinda similar?

I have also thought about that. I dont really know to much about Jagex but I dont think they monitor you before you log in. I could very well be wrong tho.

there's also the fact that it doesn't display the main ad in f2p worlds. i have now idea whether or not jagex monitors either. has any1 gotten banned shortly after using SMART? and how long, (approx. hours), have people played in f2p SMART worlds?

I've gotten that message on a normal browser before. I never worry about it on SMART. After hundreds of thousands of minutes of people botting on SMART, if it was detectable there would have been numerous mass bans by now.

its because you are using unsigned that it can't show the ad, to test it in firefox or opera go to Runescape Unsigned. It will do the same thing as smart.

Hmmp! Thanks, havn't tested it yet but. Sorry for the nooby question, but could someone maybe explain what exactly an unsigned applet is? (How it's different).

its makes it so that jagex doesn't store anything on your computer and it has to load the whole runescape game everytime. it uses lower settings, and jagex made it so that people that had no file access could play runescape, because in the signed applet it stores like mapfiles and user files(or used to anyways) on your hard drive and some people had limited user accounts and couldn't save those files on the hard drive, so jagex made it unsigned(like it doesn't leave its "signature" on your computer)

Is there perhaps a way to let SMART work signed?

yeah.. it's a param.. it's adviced not to do it because then they if they detect you autoing, they can ban all your accs :\

You have to be careful with those though. I now that the ad-block plus add-on to firefox can be detected. Some sites will have a text "Please disable add-block plus" in the place of blocked adds; I don't know if they just guess, or if your code is undetectable, or even if jagex even checks, but..
