Holy shit.

I have no idea what script did this, as I was banned about a week after I last macro'ed.

God, I hope it doesn't stay banned :(

Usually happens a week after autoing.
You get flagged the week before I guess.

you would usually see that it was just a temporary ban on the account management page… if it doesn't say that you are only banned for like 8 more days or something then it is probably permanent

As mormonman said, was it a 10 day ban or a permanent ban? And was the account F2P or P2P (or used to be P2P)?

Well, if it has never been P2P, if you're caught macroing you automatically get a permanent ban + I have never seen an appeal for one get accepted.

95% of the time you get a 10 day ban (only heard of one case so far where a member was recently perm banned).

try appealing them? breaking rule one is offensive language, i did a few posts on that in this section of the forum but a different thread, read them if you want to know the best ways to get an appeal accepted, but rule 7 i probably cant help you with, you could apologize, thats probably the best thing to do

don't appeal rule 7… even with apology all they say is thank you for your apology but we hardly even unban people for breaking of rule 7. thank you… its lame

yes for rule 7 it is true the best thing to do is make an apology and accept your punishment, got banned once on a level 3 before i knew about autoing, i sat there and cut wood for 5 days and got like 60 woodcutting, instant ban :S told them i wasnt autoing and it was a bunch of bs because i wanted to cut yews on my new pure, but they didnt accept it- kind of like the justice system in the USA =P

F2P main here got banned.
Lost 12 mil.

Shit happens, make a new one. I've already got a higher main and no banning yet. More cash too.

Its pixels anyway.

I really don't know why people keep saying this, as it is completely inaccurate. Of the seven or so accounts I have had banned for Rule 7, all of which were F2P, only one was ever perm banned and he got two temp bans before that.

It depends, was he a member before that? Sometimes, depending on how they see it, the severity of it that is, they will instant ban you, but MOST OFTEN it is non members that get the perm ban for first time autoing. Members never get it. Thats the difference between P2P and F2P.

Well you must be special :p That's the first I've heard of something like that (unless, as thedetro said, were they members before?).

Members can get perm banned, but it's just as likely as an F2Per to get a 10 day ban.


EDIT: @senrath Or maybe, if you have members accounts on your IP, they look at that too, but it's kind of unlikely.

Well, those bans of mine took place before I had members on any accounts, so I doubt it's that.

Members dont EVER get banned for macroing the first offense as far as i know, everybody ive asked has always gotten the .5 black marks, 10 day ban. For non members it is different, it is more sever since Fagex is greedy and would rather have the members not get banned because they pay.

It happened to Narcle once, but yeah, that's all I've heard of it.

Wow alright thanks for telling me because almost my entire friends list has been banned for autoing, some perm that i dont know anymore, good thing to know, now i can say 1 person got the ban for first time autoing =P

Ive had 2 F2P accounts Unbanned for macroing.

It was rather exciting lets say

Once I got my old (3 years) P2P main perm banned for macroing :P

I got banned 4 years ago.

Started a new account, continued with my army.. All is well.

This reminds me of the time I played Habbo Hotel. I was hacking up furniture badly, got ban until 2019 or something (permanent bans aren't actually permanent, just like 13 years. Hey, 13, unlucky eh?) and it had £27 worth of furniture on it (a bit sad I know :P). Good thing is, I'm good at playing innocent, so I emailed staff. God unbanned the next day. Of course I carried on using it :D
I don't play habbo anymore. It pretty much led runescape. Ruined by it's creators.

Was it a perm ban or temp?I have gotten banned for the same reason and just typed them up a message saying that someone else in my house accessed my account and they lifted :) well GL with your account m8!
