How many %'s of all RS players are using Scar do you think?

I doubt it would be that many PEOPLE, because this is the largest scar forums, and it only has 54 000 people joined. In relation to the amount of RS accounts, this wouldnt be much at all.

But then again, most good auto-ers have 5+ accounts each, so that would make a large amount of the accounts.

So, in conclusion, I have no idea :)

This says that as of October 21, 2008 Runescape has over 5 million active accounts. There are currently 2,276 active members of this forum, so that means that 0.045% of players use SCAR.

What a "no-point" thread, who knows that? Even Jagex doesn't know that.
50000 users we have here, in SRL-forums, SCAR is used by 30000 max. I think..

Right now there are about 150,000 people playing runescape, and there are 97 people on this forum. Assuming that all 97 people use SCAR, that means that 0.065% of players at this moment use SCAR.

I'm trying to find how many total accounts there are on Runescape, that would give a much more precise percentage when used in combination with the total number of accounts for this forum.

You can't work it out like that, it's far too inaccurate. For 1, not all people online atm would be using scar for autoing - I'm not atm. Secondly, people could be using two accounts online at the same time.

The total amount of players on RS is on the homepage, even then you can't get an accurate amount of people autoing.

I updated my post to be as accurate as possible now. It includes the total number of active accounts. I agree that some of us use multiple accounts, but I don't know how many is average, so I provided a base percentage. If you think most SCAR users have 5 accounts, then multiply that number by 5.

I don't think it is fair to say that all 50,000 members of this forum are using SCAR right now though, that's silly. Most people probably get frustrated and quit on their first try using it. And only people who check back on this forum currently use it because if you use it you want to be aware of any security updates to the script.

So I think my calculation is as accurate as possible.

That was just an example…. there's an autoer here who has 50+ accounts, because he made a tut island runner, and I myself have ~10, Nauman has 20+ accounts that I'm aware of. It's too hard to get an even slightly accurate answer.

Also, @ SRL Activeness: Srl members would keep multiple accounts 'active' on RS
