SRL Archive - Who Are You ? Who ? Who ?

hey its great to be here. actually, i have been using SCAR on n off for like a couple years now. i recently quit rs, but i am still eager to learn more scripting and apply it to other games/apps. I especially love this site for the tutorial island section. All other sites (like Sythe n freddy's site) pale in comparison to the amazing tuts found here.


oh also, does anyone know of a scar compiler (other than scarpack)? i want to compile a script (it is not for rs) but i cant find a compiler that does not require rs to be up. any help in this would be great.

If you mean by compile you want to turn the script into a executable (.exe) its not possible. SCAR is the only SCAR Script compiler to date and doesn't require you have RS open to run. Even SRL doesn't require you have RS open to run.

And SRL has the best tutorials because it has a larger user base. But it is nice when you need to learn something, and then the search button makes it even easier.

yah i wanted a .scar to .exe. darn. so much for bein able to auto start my program from comp start-up. thx for the info.
