What is it?

Ever wanted to turn your scripts into .exes? well thats exactly what Tv's scar wrapper does :) unfortunaltlly at the moment, you also have to have a data.rar with the .exe untill i can make it attach itself to the .exe properly…

Setting up your script for use with this

1. Your script must use Smart
2. You script must use the SrlPlayerForm
3. I also suggest using the MoveToTray; command near the begining of your script

How do I put my script into it

At the moment its not that simple, but it's also not to hard :)

1. Open the data.rar with password SRL
2. Go into the/scar folder and open script.scar
3. Paste over the script with your script and save

so download and have a look.

Can you Elaborate a little more? At the moment I dont really get what your saying it does.

basically, it means you can distribute your scripts as a .eze so people whom dont have scar can run them.

and i looked at scarpacker, basically the same idea, but theres wont allow smart… pfft trust sythe :P

Virus scanners won't pick up encrypted archives. Mind telling us the password (or giving us a non-encrypted version)?

Edit: Password is honda100, anyone feel like unpacking and scanning? Script looks clean.
Edit II: The scar executable looks clean too. Why would you bother password-protecting it and hiding the password if there's nothing there?

Might add to the leeching problem tho, now they dont even need scar :p

Its the n00bz fault if they go looking around inside, then bam, the messed it up. They can go and redownload it.
Btw, this allows SMART?

I just opened it with Notepad++ (regular Notepad would work too) and Ctrl+F'd for data.rar :). It shows up there because you put it as a string in the source code unencrypted, although it would still be possible if you pre-encrypted it with a reversible hash.

so how would you compile the scource so we could make our own?

Yerp it has to use smart, and a form fr user input, personally i just use the srl player form.
