RuneScape Stats Grabber Beta 2.1 by Ron

Features:
+ Grabs all skills flawlessly
+ Uses Jagex's highscore lite
+ Calculates Exp to Next Lvl
+ Form loads in less than a second
+ Easy to read stats with clCream and clSkyBlue backgrounds
+ Dynamically loads skills and games to the form
+ Calculates a skill's level if you only have 1 unranked skill
+ Saves all usernames and uses a combobox to scroll through them
+ Delete usernames by clicking on them and hitting the Delete button
+ Percentage bar level completion
+ Calculates combat and class

Changelog from Beta to Beta 2:
- added: combobox to scroll through usernames previously looked up
- added: deletion of usernames -> click on them and hit the Delete key
- added: saves username list
- added: ability to use a dash in place of a space, underscore, or plus
- added: minimize/maximize scar
- added: show percentage completion of the current lvl
- misc: explode function's delimiter is now a char instead of a str
- misc: calcCombat is now a procedure which takes 2 global vars as params
- misc: optimized exp to next lvl

Changelog from Beta 2 to Beta 2.1:
- replaced Ucwords() with inbuilt Capitalize()
- calculates exp, exp to next lvl, and percent of a particular skill if it is
the only unranked skill
- fixed totalLvl off by 1 of the only unkranked skill
- changed "Array of Array of String" to "T2DStringArray" to make it compatible
with SCAR 3.20. However, that drops compatibility with versions less than 320.

I rewrote the my entire script. I took a lot of functionality out because no one even used a lot of the features lol. If I ever have time the time, I will add more features. A copy of my To Do list is included in the forward comments.

RuneScape Stats Grabber Beta 2.2 by Ron

Works for the current SCAR Divi version but unsure of how much functionality was returned to this script after lack of backward compatibility with old scar divi versus new scar divi. Some irregularities still occur like a random fucking -1 instead of an actual number. Remember this script is still in beta, and I'm sure I'll be ready to update this to 2.21 or something when it's back to normal. Then I can add more features.

Ron, you are pretty sweet. I would never use this because I have no use but I love how you use SCAR for building real applications and not just using them for scripts on Runescape.

I ran it just to test it. Change the variable type of line 92 to T2DStringArray;

I usally don`t check hiscores and was trying to get some info on srl stats then this came up. I just noticed that my main got so manny skills in the hiscores!

Why change Array of Array of String to T2DStringArray? Is the former going to be deprecated?

Glad you think so. Hopefully it will become more convenient, the more features I add. The script doesn't seem as bulky as my last attempt. :)

I don't know, but it didn't compile with Array of Array of String. One of the parameters of a function calls for T2DStringArray

It compiled fine for me as is.

Same here. Updated to Beta 2 for new years. I've been waiting since New Years Eve to upload this to SRL but the forums have been down for a while. It now shows a percentage bar completion for each of your skills.

what is the percentage bar mean
is it for the experience to the next level or till lvl 99 etc. ?

Looks fantastic!

But in scar 3.15 I got an error "Invalid float"..
And in scar 3.20 I had to change Array of Array of string -> T2DStringArray, but after that it works perfectly!

Really? Could you message me the username which gave you the invalid float? Or is it any username entered using SCAR 3.15?

And I guess the array of array of string has been deprecated. I will update it. :)

Ron, I always love your scripts.
Works great for me.
I use this at school to check my autoers, and when their exp for whatever skill I'm training goes up, I know that character has logged out.

How come it says that some of zezima's skills are higher then 99? on the highscores list it only goes up to 99, just like it does in the game.

because this uses the exp equation… and it doesn't have a cap of 99, so the skills can keep going because he has enough experience for that level(hypothetically speaking)

oh that's cool, so there's an equation for the level you are, it's not just set numbers? maybe I'll look for the equation in your script, just to see what it is.

EDIT: Eh, nevermind, I changed my mind bout finding the equation… script is to advanced for me to quickly find it haha :p.

EDIT: So then JaGex can add more levels and the highest level possible would be 126, that's pretty cool, maybe they should highed the maxed out amount of experience since people have reached it.

@almost, I love when people appreciate my work and make use of it.

@baked0420, yeah almost is correct. I use the RS experience formula to compute the lvls passed 99. It gives higher lvl players more to strive for. :)

I use my own function called CalcExp to return an array of lvl values. Here is where I found the exp formula.

i used the equation in my function in reflection to find out how much exp is needed till the next level
it is

function XpForLevel(lvl: Integer): Integer;
var
i: Integer;
begin
for I := 1 to Level do
Result := Result + Trunc(i + 300 * Pow(2, i / 7));
Result:= Result/4;
Writeln(Result);
end;

The only problem with that function is when you are calling that function more than once. Each time that function is called it generates that loop and it takes longer to complete for higher lvls. The solution is running it once and having it return an array of arrays of the scores such as in my stats grabber, my CalcExp() function does just that.

thats the one i used for my little reflection function
i made one which returned a array of exp buy they said it was too long to go in reflection :(

Yeah it takes a bit to generate but no more than a couple 100 milliseconds. Plus you can always use your own function while including SRL. I haven't seen your function though, post it when you can. :)

Just updated the script to Beta 2.1. Pretty much fixes for the current beta of SCAR version 3.2 RC3.

@_99, thanks man. I love when my work is appreciated. :)

Cheers!!:o

I think thats because freddy fucked with scar's new version. I was a little upset that its not backwards compatible but I still worked on a new version of this script the beta 2.2 and I kept it on my flash stick. Lost my flash stick before the summer started and up until recently, thought my work was lost too. Luckily, I checked my vista OS and a somewhat earlier version of my 2.2 sat in my Scripts directory.

If you guys want to check it out, i think most of the functionality, if not all, is there. :)
