Basically I am looking for a laptop that i can play my xbox/ps3/dvd/wii..etc (gaming console or dvds). what is that fuction called?

Well for the PS3 you'll need a blu-ray drive.
And to play the game you just need to find a proper emulator

Your going to need a TV tuner card that has the RCA jacks in it, which I have never personally seen in a laptop so I doubt your going to find one. Get a desktop for that.

I work at staples so i can check store stock for you :) I know the DV7-1174CA most stores only got 1 or 2. My store got 2 and we sold through the same day…

No Umm, im playing ps3 on my laptop im on now, just need a HDMI converter, and some other sound cable converter and you can play consoles with HDMI like ps3 ( not ps2s tho)
