Scar 2.04 (!) Feature List...
WT-Fakawi
2006-03-24 05:32:15
EDIT: MOVED FROM DEV FORUM TO SCAR/GENERAL. NEED MORE INPUT...
We are the only active Scar (pure) community left.
We try to keep the Scar Spirit alive.
We dont want Scar to fade away.
We think it is the best colormacroer in the world!
So:
Please give me input on Bug Fixes and New Features for the upcoming Scar-release….
My shortened list (there will be more, you all know my by now….)
Features.
- DTM's with Variable Color Input.
- Folding Procedures & Functions.
- Multiple File Opening with Tabbed Browsing.
- DTM-Editor with more options. (i.e. Zoom-Tool)
- Uplink to SRL. :)
- Folder "Upload Includes" capabilities.
- Distribution with TalkingNPC-font.
Bugs.
- Run/Stop Script shortcuts (ctrl-alt-R, ctrl-alt-S) only work for first opened Scar.
I am not speculating on anything here (am I? :)), but I need you to give your input. Any valuable input is highly appreciated. I think we are the only anonymus group left (for now) that Kait will appreciate input from.
I will leave this thread "inside" for now, but I will transport it 'outside' once we are done with it.
I will make a compilation of our whishlist and send it to The Creator (I hope his wining baby is getting on his nerves, and he needs some time in isolation :) (joke))

Cool :)
I was talking to Kait earlier and he said he was stuck on something. So it may be some months before it's officially released.
Worth the wait ;)

wow those all sound rather awesome, expecially the tabbed browsing (<3 firefox) and the folding of procedures and zooming in on dtms :D
i think there is one mistake though, are you sure you want people to be able to "upload includes" ;) :p

Maybey make it return a error if it tries to move outside of the clients borders which results in you restarting?

I think hes talking about the auto function/procedure completer thing ;) like when you type in WriteLn( the little screen with 'WriteLn(text:string);" pops up
And the list of stuff that follows are my requests :D:
ArcSine,
ArcCos,
Tan,
ArcTanMake those all in radians as is the norm and add:
Radians,
Degrees,
FixD,
FixRFrom SRL ;) (or at least Radians, Degrees ;))
Also, maby a
Logarithm function :)
And as two final requests:
More multi
Thread capabilities ;)
Maby a way to be able to use Delphi
classes in Scar ;)

(Not sure if others have already stated this)
Strengthen the text editor!
-Color match parenthises (sp?)… similar to most other text editors
-More robust auto indenting
-Ulimited number of tabs
-Ability to auto open all {.include } files in tabs. (best if they were in order too :)) Would be very helpful for SRL scripts
-Able to hide lines of code (fold code) Could be done as a split screen top/bottom or right/left
-Seperat optional window with tree of files that are included to make script.
Better DTM's
-Able to set colors during runtime for (auto color finding)
-Able to adjust location of points during runtime
-Able to adjust the scale. When searching the main screen dtm should find smaller versions of itself for distant (top of screen) objects.
Able to change angle of dtm. When searching the main screen the upper side of dtm might need to be compressed to compensate for different camera angles.
-DTM's return % found (not all points needed)
-More variety of DTM searches. ex: function FindDTMsSpiral(var x, y: integer; dtm, x1, y1, x2, y2, step, radius: integer): TPoints where spiral is from x, y and step is minimum distance to next object, and radius is max distance from x, y to search.

a direct link to a better script dump, so we can get some older scripts and mabey even post new ones… the current scripts that come with scar are teh lame. instead of "releasing" srl you can just have everyone "update SRL" from scar.

Scar 2.03 Already has that, (PlaySound(FileName: string);) you just add it to the end of your script. But also i'd be nice if we could edit what scar opened up. For example everytime you open scar it shows
program New;
begin
end.
it'd be cool if you could edit it and add/take away whatever you want like this
program New;
{.include srl/srl.scar}
begin
end.

Hey!
My suggestion would be a support for full screen games too. A way to choose the window. It would be cool. I remember how people talked about this months ago in Kaitnieks.com forums, so why not? I would absolutely love to macro in full screen games too. ;) Of course there still should be also the legendary crosshair(so don't remove it, Aivars…). But if there would be too a feature to choose the window SCAR would be almost perfect. :eek: So 2 or more ways to choose the window, please! :)

The current code for IsMouseButtonDown doesn't work correctly. If you use it in a loop (or an if statement) it always returns true if the script was started using the mouse. I don't know why this is. You can test it with this script:
begin
Wait(1000);
repeat
Wait(100);
Until(IsMouseButtonDown(true))
end.
However, it doesn't have this error if you start the script with F9. I have a fix for it. When I use the function I created for the same purpose as IsMouseButtonDown, it doesn't have this error. My IsMouseButtonDown function also allows for the use of a third button (though I see no need for this). If anyone would like to alert Aivars of the situation, I'd gladly give away the code.

the ability to make bitmaps without going to paint.. eg. make a very basic paint program inside scar that you can make bitmaps with.. with that should be all the colors needed for basic stuff, a zoom, a CROP tool that tells how many pixels length by width wise.. stuff like that

yeh if it uses a bit less cpu usage thing it wud be really helpful lol.. when i run scar and rs at same tiem rs goes laggy..
Sdcit
2006-04-30 22:27:49
Most of the time thats because your doing something that lags it, not SCAR itself
driger1592
2006-04-30 22:31:55
SCAR doesn't use hardly any resources ;) GetColor is one of the most laggy functions ever (my fletcher used it instead of FindColor at first. It lagged so bad from all of the GetColors constantly happening that RS would just stop ;)), so if you use GetColor in any of your scripts, that's a good reason why. There are other procedures and functions as well, I just had a horrible experience with using GetColor in a mass amount. Using GetColor in a script for something a few times doesn't matter though.
So, in short, Sdcit's right. It's more than probably not SCAR, but, rather, your computer.

nah jive, if it were java, then making ie/ff the highest priority wont do much.. my most lagging problem is adobe gamma loader.. always goes to 99 cpu.. takes 3-5 minutes to even pop up my processes.. END once i get to it..

How much power are we talking about here? I wrote a basic read/write memory plugin a while ago, but it was always a little buggy (Delphi isn't my strong suite).
Also, compilation! I was going to ask if anyone had the SCAR source to try to put such a feature together myself, but if Kaitnieks is still somewhat involved then maybe he has his own ideas on how to do it (and, if not, I think I do).
Mmm, can't wait any longer!!! :D

SCAR 2.04 should have a silent mouse that works for runescape… I get bored when i cant use my computer… Mabye there is a way for SCAR to do this…
anyway, why doesnt Silent Mouse work good now? how does it become detectable?
Avaphi
2006-05-22 16:10:51
We could figure out the silentmouse function, If we can get the source code, You can get a picture(Bmp or jpg) of a real mouse going across the screen, by using Printscreen. Once you have that you can crop it until it has everything that is neccesary, And implement it into the silent mouse function. We could try reverse engineering scar, Or decompiling it. I do not think decompile will work, but you could give it a try.

Bitmap checker would pawn. HIghlight or hover over bitmap if found. return an error if not. for debugging purposes

Why not just try this:

Suggestions that come to mind:
-a FindWindow-type function that gets a window handle by window class name (perhaps paired with optional parameters for window size) so you could therefore get the RS window handle without any crosshair use. Shouldn't be all that hard.
-better silent mouse system (special to the needs of RS) as well as the ability for SCAR to work fine without actually showing on the screen (ie offscreen, under windows, or perhaps even minimized)
Janilabo

The window idea is nice. Then it would support full screen games, too. But anyways there still should be always ALSO the crosshair. Never take it away! :p
I like your idea about better silent mouse. That would be neat. Even if it would still be highly detectable, it would work for many other games. And other stuff too.. Of course. :eek:

Maybe a bug or just my computer but sometimes while im having fun making colour clickers, scarf moves the mouse to the top left handside corner and clicks there instead of on the color. It happens frequently on both of my computers. Apart from that i think somthing revolutionary for scar would be an inbuilt web browser. Like a tab for the web browser and a tab for the script. That way you might be able to run multiple bots at the same time. Also after dtms bitmaps and radial functions you could maybe look at the 3d end to help scar target the newest randoms.

maybe if you could fix the select client things so it can select the runescape client and not just the runescape window this would allow scrips to run muity clients at once. you could make it change between clients and there for alow you to have more than one scar jsut by repeating the same commards on the diffrent clients.
dont know if it is possible but it is jsut any idea

i have some suggestions
you know the hint variable is not used? how about function/procedure is not used.
it would only check in the direct program though so it wouldnt get messed up in includes
also i think you should have it when theres an error in the includes it will say in the includes.
you should be able to click on the includes and a list will pop up of all the function/procedures in that include
that way you could look up the procedures without getting out of the script and getting into the includes
i love fold out functions idea

They arent doing anything with scar, They are giving suggestions to kaitnieks.. unless someone manages to recreate all the functions ..*Cruel*..
Also a nice thing would be the ability to totally create dtms at runtime;
something like
function CreateEmptyDtm: Integer;
function CreateDTMPoint(OriginPoint: TPoint; CurrentPoint: TPoint; Color, SearchBigness, SearchPattern, Tol: Integer): Integer;
procedure AddPointToDtm(emptydtm, newpoint: Integer);

Yep, that would be sweet. I don't know if this has been mentioned, but it would be nice if you could extrapolate a DTM back from the string form.
As far as I know there is know way to take the DTM text and find out exactly what the person was trying to do when they made it. For bitmaps you can just use the string-to-bitmap function and see exactly what they cropped. Not so for DTMs. If this functionality already exists, someone please tell me how to do it. :)

memory editing would be great, turn like mining rocks into big red dots! would be alot easier to macro :) turn all randoms into some horably yellow figure…ect
Yakman
2006-08-28 15:31:34
i think there should be a way to change transparency with hotkeys, if you choose 0% transparency, theres no way to change back unless you close the program
also i think that string-to-DTM idea is great
another 1 is (this will take some explaning)
when you use a SCAR procedure or function, the help tab come up as "procedure clickmouse(x,y:inteter);
but if you make a procedure/function it come out as "function clicktext(txt:string;font:longint;xs:longint;ys:longint;xe:longint;ye:longint;left:boolean):boolean
instead of:
function ClickText(txt:string;font,xs,ys,xe,ye:integer;left:boolean):boolean;
so my suggestion is (finnaly) make the help bar use commas
Sumilion
2006-08-28 16:25:59
Well… i think the helpbar is in scar itself, not in srl. But yeah it would be better. What i would like so see in SRL is erm… its just perfect the way it is :D, a few more anti-randoms would be fine, but i think it's too much asked :)

ClearLine(Line : Integer); Instead of just ClearDebug; so it's really neat? xP
That's all I can think of….alot of my other ideas can be just manually made inside a script. Maybe make the bitmap to string tool bigger? It's kind of a small window and can get annoying when you zoom in to much. Oh yea and it lags sometimes when you press open from web.
Nothing else, I think.

Could it be possible to making Scar lag lower when finding bitmaps etc?
Fix the flawed "holdmouse" function. add x+1. Also at random it seems to jump -1y. But it happens rarely (extremly rare, but it does happen!). So there must be some serius flaws in the coding there.

I'm pretty sure tabs is for scripting. I find myself with about 5 scar windows open at the same time (usually a few are differnt parts of srl and a couple are different versions of what I'm working on and 1 is for testing small parts) so tabs would be really useful for scripting tidier (sp?).
Edit: I've been playing around with Phrogram (aka KPL v2) which is a more advanced version of KPL (google it) and it's like scripting in nice comfy chair. The debugging, tabs, explorer, value monitoring, class and modular support, and I've only poked around a little. Download it and check out the user guide for more features. The only thing it can't do (as far as I know) is use the mouse and keyboard and 'see' the screen like scar can (lacking the hands and eyes of human emulation but makes writing the brain easier for us if you know what I mean). This would be a huge overhaul, but if scar could have the features of Phrogram, that would be just swell. Yea I said swell.
03 is getting buggy-er because I can't do alot of things now. Kait really needs to update…FAST

And the list of stuff that follows are my requests :D:
ArcSine, ArcCos, Tan, ArcTan
Make those all in radians as is the norm and add:
Radians, Degrees, FixD, FixR
From SRL ;) (or at least Radians, Degrees ;))
Also, maby a Logarithm function :)
well, you may have requested this a long time ago, but i had made a logarithm function and noticed that you wanted it. see
http://www.villu-reborn.com/showthread.php?t=3470 hopefully that code will be implemented directly into scar or at least SRL math.scar.
also, two requests ive seen a lot are updated silent mouse and multiple screens at once. i have to say that i-bot pretty much has the ideal for both of them. maybe someone could look into thier code and make calls into java commands…

I can help with the actual programming of it. Who should I speak to about that?
Allowing for more form control would be great.
- Built in SCAR formatter.
- Manual that explains everything.
- More delphi/pascal functions.
- More form components so we have better control over the GUI of our scripts.
- Add Ord() to the function/procedure list. It doesn't seem to show up when you press . in scar.
- More canvas functions.
- Obfuscator.
I wish I could think of more.

Function/procedure list shows up with ctrl + space.
More Delphi functions is a must.
Obfuscater has no real point in SCAR IMO, plus they already have an encryption for scripts.

If kait ever completely quits (not like Jordan or Jay-Z) and promises to never ever update, then I would hope he passes on to someone (Freddy?) or makes it open source. But while it's alive, open source is dangerous.

Why? Not really. SRL is basically open source. And it's not a danger. If trusted sites like SRL and dylock host the files and check them, then open source-ing SCAR will become a good thing.
Boreas
2006-12-02 23:40:44
You are free to modify SRL and improve it/screw it up, but there's only 1 real SRL. Open source with lots of home brew versions, and trusted sources marking certain versions as 'good' is better than none. However there will still be 'bad' or unintentionally crappy versions floating around. Also, the trusted sources have so much work they might as well be the developer of the closed source.
Also, it may give jagex an advantage.
I like open source as much as the next guy, but in this particular case, I would prefer kait making ownage 2.04, writing plugins for some things, making scripts and SRL better, and starting from scratch with another program.

Some of the stuff I'd be very interested in seeing in SCAR are:
- Bugfixes from v. 2.03
- An obfuscator with variable degrees of obfuscation (like unsafe, medium, heavy, and NSA-secure :D )
- Improved DTM and Bitmap handling, like loading bitmaps and DTMs from file and a DTM-viewer for already existing DTMs
- Multi-threading support so that certain actions in SCAR can be done at the same time, i.e. moving the cursor while searching for colors (greatly improved anti-ban!)
- Complete delphi/pascal support with potentially unsafe stuff being messaged to the user before execution (firewall warning)
- An actual compiler so one can make .exe files and run a script even when not posessing SCAR, but retaining script support and warning the user before he/she opens the .exe file about potentially executing malicious code
- More form components (see delphi support)
- More math functions (logarithms, extended geometry calculations, etc.)
- Very basic inbuilt browser (nothing complex, make it simple)
- tabs for multi-script opening/browser. Obviously with firewall like in the old SCAR versions.
- Improved report box
- Support for 3d games/directX detection, but retaining the crosshair
- Better plugin support with a SCAR API, so that extensions can be programmed at will without the need to release a new version. Not just code fragments that can be called on during runtime, but also other stuff like windowed tools and such
- Ability to hack into javac/javaw processes and edit their memory
- Threading support
- Remove all support for RSC, as cheating on it is essentially dead and there are no more functioning scripts with this support
I do NOT want SCAR to become a multi-versatility tool with bitmap editor, etc, simply because this would change the intention of SCAR. SCAR was meant to be a scriptable color clicker to cheat games, not a bitmap-editing tool/web-browser/memory editor/hacktool/Java. I also want SCAR to remain focused on security, and not as much on functionality. Without the security that is implemented in SCAR these days, the community would not have gained as much support. The biggest concern while advancing SCAR should be with security!
I just realized. In the form editor, can kait actually put working colors in there? For me only clBlack and clRed work. I'm sure more work too, but I had to specially set clCream and clSkyBlue to get those to work. But for some reason those showed up on the form editor correctly.
Also, taCenter does not work. Again, it works on the form editor, but not in the actual form. Weird, but true.

SCAR scrips are just plain ascii files that anyone can read. As of now, you cant compile your code so other people cant steal it. Obfuscators scramble around your code in a way still understandable by the interpreter (SCAR) and make it so other people can't read your code, so they can't steal it. It's not encryption. Remember, SCAR still needs to be able to read the code, but the point is to make it so other people cant read the code. That's what obfuscators do.

Alof of that stuff you are suggesting is either nearly impossible to make or useless… SCAR is still originally made to cheat runescape and not WoW or any other game. You can already load bitmaps from a file and dtms in the dtm editor from a file… A built in obfuscator would just make people able to put keyloggers and other crap in their scripts, while you specificly speak about security and exe files the same, but even worse. So even if kaitnieks would continue working on SCAR, half of the stuff you were naming there would certaintly never be in it
I think it would be sweet is that for when you press download includes, you get srl plus all the plugins and i wish that there was a obfuscator for pay scripts or something like that.

Lol, that's why SCAR is half stupid. In iBot, you can compile into a class and no one can read your source. If they are worried about keyloggers and stuff, you can upload your script to an admin or someone trusted and get them to look over your script and compile it and upload it themselves and say it's clean. You can't do that in SCAR.

Ideas:
-Fix the SCAR memory leak where it skips lines and procedures sometimes.
-Fix the slowness. Other times, SCAR skips some portions of a script sometimes, this is bothersome.
um… I had more… hmmmm…
oo ya,
-Fix how SCAR loses the client window alot (the cross-hair) idk y, but mine loses a lot somedays, then it works other days.
-Make "Keep Variables" option, sometimes when a script has an error, u want to re-run it. ur in the same world, so colors did not change and u want to re-run from where u r. My mining guild script finds my location first, but the prob is that it wants to find the water and all that all over again. Make it so u can say u want the same vars and SCAR can fill those in where applicable.
-Find someway to make a "SkipColor" function, meaning if there is something wrong with the color it choose (uptext is wrong or w/e) that it won't go back to it untill it finds the correct object.
For Ex: in the mining guild, sometimes we lose the head, sometimes, some1 is there wearin rune armour, it crawls up and down that person and leave the head behind. Maybe make it like a list type thing. Like, it crosses that x,y off the finding list and about 5 + and - both ways from both x and y so it won't retry that area onscreen. once it finds the correct object, those "crossed-off" areas are purged from the mem. Sort of like a process of elimination.
I'll think of more later, i think these would greatly enhance SCAR's power.

- SCAR doesn't skip lines
- SCAR isn't slow, ur oc is
- RS changes the handle, thats why scar looses it, it's ur job to get it back

then y does my SCAR skip lines? it only skips a line or procedure after a couple of hours with running a script. u can't even say my comp is slow, and i think SCAR's speed could be faster. the I-bot ppl claim I-bot is much faster, but I have yet to be able to find a working power script to c if that's true.
ok SCAR is not "slow" but i think it could be faster than it is, it is kinda slow, i mean, 5 loads of coal in 45 minutes? ouch
as much as i have tested things and seen scripts run, i HAVE seen it ignore a procedure after a while. the mining guild script once click 1 of 2 walks, then skipped the second and started looking for a bank booth. So, what was that about not skipping anything??
now, about the variables, i'm sure u've had a time when u'd like to start a script and keep the variables for bank color or something while ur testing. i know if a certer(miles, giles) comes up and makes my char logout, then i want to re-start him from inside the guild, but i want it to keep the water color etc. etc. so i don't have to walk back to the bank to restart.
SCAR losing the handle, i DO know that RS changes the client handle, but i'm using ur SCSS client. hmm, so what do u say now? ok, i don't talk to u like ur dumb, so don't talk to me like i am dumb. k? :D
ok, so urs hasn't skipped lines and mine has once or twice. i'm srry it was a crime to mention it.
File access error needs addressed as well. now this idk y it happens.
ok, a variable means it vaires. but when ur not changing worlds, those colors don't change by much. i can proove that(although i use SCSS). sometimes we'd like some variables to stay the same cuz some are time consuming to obtain. Like when ppl are all over the bank symbol, sometimes it doesn't work. thats y i suggested the "OPTION" to KEEP SOME or ALL variables loaded.

You could be skipping lines due to bad logic and loops an in scripts, like if then conditions that aren't true when they should be.
Loads of coal or whatever is partly due to scripts not being as smart as humans. Not being able to find rocks right away, or telling when its done, or walking etc.
Again the skipping could be due to scripts thinking that it did something. Like if it does an action after finding a symbol, but it cant find the symbol. Trust me, if a line isn't commented, SCAR reads it.
I don't know what you're talking about with starting in the middle of a script.
Um try to use better English and maybe I can answer some more of your problems. Or learn to script more and maybe you can answer them yourself.
Yakman
2006-12-10 16:52:34
you really cant keep variables, no programming language in the world stores variables, if you want them to come back, try writing the values to a file,
also file access error is caused if scar tries to access a file which doesnt exist, or if the user has not allowed, the file procedures iv seen in SRL all create a new file if they detect the file access has failed
im not sure about this, but i think SCSS only sends the client handle to SCAR when you do NextPlayer(state:boolean); but im not sure
if you want to use Freddy's skip area functions look in the SRL manual under FreddyPlugin
got anymore comments? cuz i got more proof for these.
i would like to see proof, perhaps you could write us a script which demostrates this error
Freddy1990
2006-12-10 17:26:51
Actually, the entries in srl that use my plugin are in color.scar (and xcolor.scar)
and SCAR can't just "forget" to execute lines… it's not possible
also, ibot is indeed faster, for the simple reason that it's not interpreted, ibot scripts are precompiled it's pretty much like u'd make a dll that can access all of scars functions and use it to build a precompiled script, which of course isn't possible
i'm not talking to you as if you are dumb, i'm just laying out the facts…
oh and btw, the SCSS client in srl3.5 and previous is crap, the new version which will be in srl3.6 has been completely modified, works pretty much flawless
There are some examples for using the skipbox/coords functions in SRL/scripts/examples/color
Also, those functions are seriously speeded up in srl3.6

srry, i can't make a script that skips lines, it's not possible, it's just from something idk. it did it to me earlier running dankness's draynor tree cutter (nothing wrong with the script) it walked to the tree, cut oak, banked, then when it went to walk back to the tree, it did um… 5 of 6 clicks, then it tried searching for the tree. so idk about this mem leak. what's the new specs on the new SCSS, Freddy?
speed in the new SRL, hmmm. can't wait to test it, hope it works. yakman, y don't u check on something like that. find someway to store the variables SCAR finds and saves in mem, like when it finds a color and saves as BankColor variable or something. get it so that u can re-use that on the next run IF the same SCAR file/window is still open and that script was the last previously ran. I'm tellin u, this would be great for testers to not have to re-find the autocolors if the script messes up.

see, u don't even understand what i'm saying. if u'd take the time to read, u'd understand and like this idea. when u start a script, most of them find colors first (bank, water, etc, etc) instead of picking this on ur own and adding it to the script, just make it so that if the script has an error and fails like half-way and ur in the mining guild, would u wanna walk all that way back so it can find 3 colors all over again? like make it so u can select which vars to stay the same when u RE-RUN IT. not if u close and open it later. but when u RE-RUN the SAME script over again, that way u can continue from where it left off.
my mining guild script that i have finds ur location(fally, guild). sometimes a certer de-activates my char so i STOP the script. I COULD pick up from in the guild since it finds my loc first, but it always goes to search for the bank and water colors from when ur in the bank. If there was a keep vars the same option and u check the BankColor and WaterColor vars to stay the same, SCAR can fill those in so the script won't need to search and u can continue testing etc. I'm telling u, this would be great fro when certain scripts get stuck during testing, do u wana go ALL the way back to the starting point or pick-up from ur current rs loc?
Yes i do script tyvm. i just keep it on the DL mainly. I'm currently thinking of a way to make a leo solver, and i DO have the main idea down. it's just the matter of putting it together and bug testing.

http://scintilla.sourceforge.net/SciTEImage.html, where it has expandable tree views of procedures and loops etc. (LOTS of help when only working on certain parts of a script not to have so much other coding distracting the eyes)
2. Also like Scite and Crimson editor, have it where the syntax is highlighted into different colors(user selectable?) So the 'procedure' would be bolded, 'if statements' red, 'loops' gold, etc. Like how the comments are green. (I have a feeling this may already be in scar, but i cant check it at the time of writing this)
3.Advanced: An internal bitmap creator? Where, like the DTM editor, it takes the picture of the handled window and you can select an area and make it a bmp, or a mask. Have zoom features and stuff, similar to ms paint? Maybe grid possible?
4. More ideas to come later?

And an explanation of how the dtm editor translates a bunch of points and colors into the string. Same for bitmaps I guess.

freddy, but instead of taking all that time to store the variables in mem. my idea was like this (for a better understanding just so we're both on the same page)
if a script stops, and u click "run" again on the SAME script, SCAR would pop-up a window:
SCAR of course has to keep the variables that were in mem, still in the mem for the re-run. only delete them out when script is closed or a new 1 is run.
but not all vars, only color 1's or 1's that u can somehow signal with a command like StoreMem(Var name:string);

i'm tellin u, this would make testing and script pick-up much easier. or freddy, we could do it ur way u suggested, but i'm siding with the user-friendliness myself here. u don't want a hard crappy user-interface with "oo, do this this this and this to get this". but it's all up to kait.
ok, i'm through talking about this and i appreciate u not talking down at me like i'm mental. That's like the first some1 has done that besides sum and wizzy. i got lots of ideas, i'm only saying what i have seen. there's like 3 posts that say "oo, skipping is not possible. u've gotta be stupid" or somthing like that. well, idk, that's just what i saw, so since i'm so "stupid", y don't u tell me what causes that instead of insulting me then ending ur reply Boreas.
lol, i noticed something, u guys always say "oo the new SRL is terrific and fantastic, it'll be out soon." Then when it comes out, ur all like "this version sucks, the next 1 is way better." lol, i think thats funny, it like never ends. keep up the good work.
SHHHH!!! secret secret - - - I'm working on that leo solver, from the thought of it, it seems pretty easy on how to like, solve it and the order and all. it's just the matter of colors, coords, bitmaps with acc and all of that. it'll be a LONG while. lol

I just added that to FreddyPlugin ( procedure DeleteUID; )
Included in SRL3.6 :)

or can you make it a function so we can input the directory it is found in?

ranger I wasn't insulting you for stupidity, just attitude and spelling.
Also better find/replacing would be nice, like in text editors. For major replacing I have to copy to notepad/word, it's annoying.
And yet another vote for collapsible tree thing.

ya, a find and replace would work nicely. freddy, yes i do know that that is not an easy task. maybe the guy i know would be able to do something like that if he can tear SCAR apart, this guy's a whiz. then he could see if he could do that, then kait can take and use the code. (since SCAR is his, no i'm not attempting a steal)

lets see, i just remembered something, i hope i didnt say this before
"bitmaps with holes in them" or with a background color, so if only care about a certain oddly shaped part of the bitmap, you can set everything else to the background color (probably white), and it wont check for matches with background colored pixels. as if there was a "hole" in the bitmap where it didnt matter what exhisted.
also, no-one has yet said to me that they have talked to kaitnieks recently. its seems very plausible that he has gone on to other things in his life. i do think the idea list is long enough for him to have something to add to scar, if he ever does. i would like a clear answer on whether people are in contact with kaitnieks or not.

Yes it is so then you are able to create holes by sett areas that you dont want to be recognized as '0'. For example use photoshop to outline a circle then use paint bucket on it with the black color '0'

There's no way to detect such a thing, since then you'd need to throw in an acception if a getkey function of some sorts is used which isn't always for keylogging…

I have a suggestion.
Possibly pointless, however:
LINUX. Linux support.
Scar on Linux would just be really cool. Maybe not that useful, but hell, Rs2 runs on linux too ;) and probably a lot faster anyways.
It'd probably be hard to make linux support for a program like SCAR, if its been made for Windows and Windows only, and I don't expect it to be done, but who knows. It'd be cool.
Zorlin, I got scar to work on Ubuntu Linux by installing wine. :)

lol, that isn't exactly alot ey :)
scar does a bit moer than that
Able to include scripts from the web like this:
{.include http://www.yahoo.com/script.txt}
That would really help so much because now it would be soooo much easier to update your script! :D
Oh and also, for some reason scar can't detect the delete key.
if(iskeydown(46))then
writeln('delete detected');
can you fix that? Thanks. :)
You can however detect it using a form, but by just using that, I could not get it to detect it.
Able to use If/Then/Else single lines, I always get Identifier Expected when I do it like this:
program New;
var
a : integer;
begin
if(a = 0)then
writeln('a = 0');
else
writeln('a = something else');
end.
How about Sets in scar also? That would prove useful.

and what's your take on including scripts off the web?

Hmm, what do you mean by "sets"?
including scripts off the web, as i said, can be used to download keylogging scripts and such
Quote from here:
http://www.delphibasics.co.uk/Article.asp?Name=Sets
Sets are another way in which Delphi is set apart from other languages. Whereas enumerations allow a variable to have one, and only one, value from a fixed number of values, sets allow you to have any combination of the given values - none, 1, some, or all.
A set variable therefore holds a set of indicators. Up to 255 indicators. An indicator is set on when the variable has that value defined. This may be a bit tricky to understand, so here is an example:
And that's how you can use the "in" operator and say..
program New;
type
Letters = set of 'a'..'z';
begin
if('a' in Letters)then
WriteLn('a is in the letters set');
end.
Freddy1990
2007-01-01 17:01:59
Oh yes, i use that in delphi sometimes, didn't know they were called sets, lol
well, i use them instead of defining a set just by doing for example ['a'..'z'], but ok :)
EDIT: Do remember that SCAR is for pascal scripts and not delphi scripts
Oh ya I understand, but I was told that it was like a mix of Pascal/Delphi and hey, whatever helps RS cheating, throw it in. :)

We need something for the minimap, like a function/procedure that compares a smaller bitmap to a larger, has tolerance, and returns: the part the smaller bitmap is of the bigger one and rotation… i know thats gonna be hard;) but it could be used for a lot of things…. and mapwalking will change for ever… in a good way that is. Some 3d functions would be good. Am i asking a lot? lol
Declaring defaults for vars like:
Blah : Integer = 123;
Would be cool..

Freddy1990

i know i am late whith my suggestion but you should really try to add sounds to scar or SRL.Like if he gets a random he should play a sound.Or when he founds an unknown random or when the pickaxe is broken or the head is lost.this could be very handy you know i tried alot whit playsound then the adress of the file but never played a sound
Janilabo
2007-02-10 13:04:38
robeike, make sure the sound type is .
WAV (SCAR only can play wav's with PlaySound)… And then, put the script to same folder with your sound..
This could be an example:
PlaySound(ScriptPath + 'YourSound.wav'); //Change YourSound to the name of the sound you'll use.
The path can be changed, but that is good as an example. ..and easy way to learn PlaySound command.
robeike
2007-02-10 14:26:06
yea srr i used .mp3.but shouldn't it be better to have 5 or 6 sounds included into scar.so that we just need to do import sound or something like that…

err don't know if this has been said and sure it's not in 2.03 but something like if a pop-up comes up it will automatically activate client. got no admin at the moment and a popup for admin keeps coming up but i can't disable it cos got no admin so all my scripts stop as soon as update pops up.
yea i love scar and its the only macro that actually works or doesn't have a key logger when you download it
keep it up people.
