Tab Maker (announcement)

If anyone wants to do a tab maker with me (probably will be within the next week), start preparing now. If you need to level up for a certain lectern, try the attached oaklarder maker (alpha). Setup part of your house in the below diagram (msn:boreas.srl@hotmail.com if you want to see it in game). Make sure you have the butler in the red jacket (unless you want to rewrite your version for maid etc). Lastly of course get the runes/staff for your chosen spell. This will stay SSRL, as just a few of us can make a lot of tabs.

…………………………………………….dining room, with bell in bottom left corner
………………………………………………………………..=
Bottom stairs with glory in bottom right corner = study with lectern
………………………………………………………………..=
……………………………………………………………..center portal

Important! No other internal doors connecting to those 3 rooms. This will ensure that the butler appears in one of those 3 rooms, and will be less likely to get stuck.

We really need an SSRL member pin supplier…

I usually get them for firecapes, pretty hard to scam me with that ;)

Target? Do you mean Target as in a member, or Target as in the retail shop?

Depends on the tab. Because of the butler time being a bottleneck, and judging from the oak larder maker, I'm hoping 25-35 seconds a load. The Butler, which is available at the lowest tab making level (40), can bring 20 items per load*, and asks for 5k every 8. So that's (2400*ProfitPerTab)-75000 profit per hour. A couple examples:

Varrock:
Tab:806- (Law:297*** + Fires:Free** + Airs:39 + SoftClay:178) = Profit: 292
625 800 per hr (84 000 xp per hr)

Camelot:
Tab:765 - (Law:297*** + Airs:Free** + SoftClay:178) = Profit: 290
621 000 per hr (133 200 xp per hr)

*The Demon can bring 26, which works out to be an extra 100-300k profit per hr, but Butler is available earlier and easier to findobj.
** With staff
*** Or less with sudoku

Hmm, it would cost me like 4m to get to 67 con….it's damn tempting, lol. Are you sure 30 seconds a load though? It takes quite some time clicking to make the tab and waiting for the animation. And that a butler can carry soft clay? If you are though this could turn out to be some insane mage xp too.

Well it takes 30 seconds for the Butler to go to bank and bank and to tell him to go again. So tabs per load will be whatever we can do in that time, hopefully 20. I'll do some tests.

Edit: Looks more like 200k an hr.

So roughly 800 tabs/hour? Thats still 44k mage xp an hour with cammies, which is very decent

Ok, so we'll go with Demon bringing 25/26, and he will be waiting on us. The speed will really be down to casting time.

I recommend to make house tabs. I think they sell way better than cammy tabs, don't they?

Boreas

Yea, maybe even a mix, so you can choose between profit or exp.

BTW I just started legit with demon. I said bring 25/26 before, but I forgot about spot for tabs, so its 24/25. Also, holy shit the demon is fast:) His words are blue though, so I'll have to add to what the oak larder used:(

Any updates on this or the larder maker? Just about ready to get my con up and start making tabs

Boreas

I stopped working on the larder maker as I got to 57 and ran out of planks. It's still in the 'you should watch it' stage, so there's lots you can add to it.

For the tab maker, I've run into a limitation in SCAR for what I want to do with talking to the demon. There is a less accurate (but probably accurate enough) workaround, but I'm waiting to see if Freddy can figure something out with the original. Let me know when you get your construction up.

Any progress?

I got the payment info, here is updated demon talk file. That should be it unless you can think of anything else he says.

Edit: actually when he comes back with the clay, we don't want to click to continue, we want to do nothing and just click him again. So change the end of FindTPAText in TPAText.scar to this
  result:=true;
if ((TPATextArr[count].ClickBox.x1=TPATextArr[count].ClickBox.y1)and (TPATextArr[count].ClickBox.x1=TPATextArr[count].ClickBox.x2)) and (TPATextArr[count].ClickBox.x1=TPATextArr[count].ClickBox.y2) then
begin
if TPATextArr[count].ClickBox.x1 <2 then
exit;
TypeSend(inttostr(TPATextArr[count].ClickBox.x1));
exit;
end;
MouseBox(TPATextArr[count].ClickBox.x1,TPATextArr[count].ClickBox.y1,TPATextArr[count].ClickBox.x2,TPATextArr[count].ClickBox.y2,1);
end;
And in the ini, change ImBack under TPAInfo to
ImBack=8388608 211 384 233 406 1 1 1 1
so that the all ones for the click box indicates do nothing, and just return true the text is there.
