SRL Archive - Outdated / Broken

Ive been thinking about a mouse pad on a laptop. Sometimes if you start the mouse from one spot on your screen and go to the other you will have to move your hand to the end of the mouse pad and move back to the beginning. If we could move that style of mouse into SRL it would be a anti-ban thing. It would move about 1/4 of the way and wait 100 ms and repeat until your 4/4 the way there. This would be not detectable at all and it would give the feel of someone using a mouse pad on a laptop.

uhh. a mouse pad is so pathetic but yes… its a good idea. im gonna test my moms laptop right NOW!

try playing RS on a mousepad… it will drive you crazy.

well for about a year and a half i played RS with a mousepad, its a nice skill to have, very character building ;)

now i consider mouse and mousepad equil,

i dont think we should have this because there are antibans like PickUpMouse and stuff like that, jagex might see it suspitously if someone uses a mouse and a mousepad

I've never noticed pickupmouse doing anything. I think there should be a mousepad boolean.

Here's what I think:
If I had a laptop, I would plug in an external USB mouse. If I had a laptop and a PC, I would play games on the PC and do other stuff on the laptop.

By 'Here's what I think' I mean 'Here's what I want Jagex to think I think'. In other words, leave it.

Well yes jagex might think that we are doing something weird… but sometimes on a random I think it would be good.

I sometimes forget i have a mouse hooked up to my laptop and start useing the mousepad lol

Well ya I do that to. I think this would help because it would trick Jagex and then the ban percent will lower. It would be like a randomized thing… if it could count the number of times the regular mmouse was used and when it was 100 or something it would start using the laptop mouse untill the count was 100 again or something like that.

I think its a pretty good idea actually, and also using a mouse pad for rs is easy lol.

Playing runescape on a mac (with just mousepad) is annoying!

Ooh… mousepad style emulation? Probably a great idea, seeing as mousepads seem to jutter, and some scar scripts do too, :P so if JAGeX bans us just stick in the ban appeal "OMG I WAS USING A MOUSEPAD NUBS@@!#OMG!@!!".

But if I'm really trying to play I will plug in my wireless USB mouse.


I actually made a function that would act like a mousepad once. But it was really annoying to watch and actually didn't seem too human, so I scraped it. Maybe I didn't make it good enough :tongue:
