Reflextion allows SCAR to run in the background. It is supposedly really nice although it is kind tough to get it to work.

Is it like SMART? With you being able to do what you want to, while SMART uses the "red dot mouse."

Reflection => Smart reading fields(variables) from the RuneScape client during runtime.
Although I don't think SMARTs reflection is set up to do this, Reflection can also invoke methods(call methods) and set fields(variables).
If you want to know more, theres quite a few tutorials lying around here that tell you how to use it.
Also, if you're interesting in reflection, theres a tutorial about it on the java website.
