Yes, I know I posted this in the mems section but I couldn't get it moved.

Well I know that everyone has wanted to know how well our scripts are doing if they are getting leeched or what not. So me and Floor66 created this function. It uploads the proggy that you have in your script to a MySql database that I have up on the web. I know alot of you will be thinking "Oh noez! It will steal my account!" No, it wont. It only gets the proggy text. The actual site is
http://scarprogressreports.net76.net/ . The welcome page is this, I know it's not much but it's better than nothing.
Then when you click on Scar Reports and there will be a link to the show.php NOTE, WHATEVER IS POSTED IN YOUR PROGGY WILL BE POSTED UP HERE.
Those are some tests that I did while making sure it was working.

My database is freely public so nothing is hidden, you can use mine if you would like or you can setup your own. If this is good enough for a nice release I'll right a tutorial on how to setup your own MySql database site. Or if you want to use it privately but want your own database, just PM me or send me a message on MSN.

Currently, the only way to view the reports is by going here http://scarprogressreports.net76.net/show.php but I will fix that as soon as I edit the index.php
Here is the function itself
{*******************************************************************************
function PostReport(ScriptName, Website, Proggy : String): Boolean;
By: Camo Kyle & Floor66
Description: Posts the Progress Report to my database which you can see
*******************************************************************************}
function PostReport(ScriptName, Website, Proggy : String): Boolean;
var
Dbase : String;
Client : Integer;
begin
Client := InitializeHTTPClient(False, False);
ClearPostData(Client);
Wait(10);
AddPostVariable(Client, 'proggy', Proggy);
AddPostVariable(Client, 'scn', ScriptName);
Dbase := PostHTTPPageEx(Client, Website);
FreeHTTPClient(Client);
Result := true;
end;

This is an example on how it would be included.
Program New;
{.include SRL\SRL.scar}

Const
Games = 5000;
GetTicketCount = 1000000;

Var
Proggy : String;

Great procedure, works perfectly. At least, I haven't seen any bugs. Keep it up :P.

/Wonders what else to say.

wow nice, looks extremely useful, then you always get the progress reports you want, and people don't have to worry bout being lazy and not wanting to post them, you can post proggys while autoing now, good idea. rep+

Well the point of this is to post proggies even for the people who don't want to post them. Not make people lazy and not worry about posting. Thanks for liking it :)

looks sweet, although looking at the page the sorting looks a little confusing.

maybe have a line or something that separates reports from eachother, and sort them by like a username or sumthing haha. Just a suggestion, looks awesome though, ill start using this in my scripts now :)

Another problem maybe is that the usernames of all the bots used are there. So some lamer could just direct JagEx to this. Therefore all the botters names are given = Mass banning?

Just a little caution note :). Maybe login details needed to see?

You can also create your own database for this :). He helped me make one, actually. It's pretty epic.

An easier way would be to not have progress reports that contain usernames.

Impressive :) I can't wait til' my scripting is great enough to do things like this, I have a decent knowledge of PHP, HTML, and JS, and an out of the box type mind ;D. Stupid college gets in the way of the fun stuff haha, it's worth it.. I hope…

You might actually style up show.php, and with php add something off a limit, so you have show.php?page=2&limit=5 for example. That's relatively easy tbh;
EDITED OUT; PMED Kyle with a working script for page division!

Something like that?

It would be pretty cool if you could make an account and only see yours, if thats possible :P

Floor66

2008-12-21 05:41:28

Why not :p
That's easy

Floor, this is the one you sent me correct? Anyways, thanks to him for the new show.php! It works brilliantly! Thanks! I feel bad because you're doing all this work and I haven't done a single thing. But like in my PM I've been working 40+ hours :/
<?php
include "cfg.php";

$p = $_GET['page'];
if (empty($p) || $p == '')
{
$p = 1;
} else {
$p = $_GET['page'];
}
$limit = $_GET['max'];
if (empty($limit) || $limit == '')
{
$limit = 5;
} else {
$limit = $_GET['max'];
}
$start_from = ($p-1) * $limit;
$result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM `proggies` LIMIT ". $start_from .",". $limit);
$total = mysql_query("SELECT count(*) FROM `proggies`");
$total = mysql_result($total, 0);
if ($p > ceil($total/$limit))
{
echo "<strong>Incorrect pageID</strong><br />";
echo "<a href='?page=1&max=". $limit ."'>Back to page 1</a>";
exit;
}

echo "Page(s): || ";
$i = 1;
while ($i <= (ceil($total/$limit)))
{
if ($p == $i)
{
echo "<strong>". $i ."</strong> || ";
} else {
echo "<a href='?page=". $i ."&max=". $limit ."'>". $i ."</a> || ";
}
$i++;
}
echo "<br /><br />";
while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result))
{
echo "<strong>". $row['scn'] ."</strong>";
echo "<PRE>". stripslashes($row['Proggy']) ."</PRE>";
}
?>
Not usefully unless u have users, my one i made awhile ago, maybe a month or 2 has users, its not too hard, add me if u want some help.

Yes I would definetly use this if it had your own account, otherwise your script would get mixed with others, and it would get too confusing :)
