1.1 - Making sure SMART is properly installed

Embedded SMART fix

Visit the folder 'C:/Program Files/SCAR 3.15/Plugins/' and find the plugin named Embedded SMART.dll and delete it. You should however have Embedded_SMART.dll in the Plugins folder. If not update SRL again, move plugins. Voila!

2.1 Fixing the Canvas Problem

Method 1 - SCAR over SMART

Set up a script as you normally would. Minimize all windows except SCAR. Maximize SCAR before starting the script. When SMART pops up, immediately restore SCAR. Meaning SCAR should be on top of SMART. Wait for a few minutes, just be patient on this step. This step corresponds to how long Runescape © loads for you. (If using a form (E.g. Chop Chop form, SRL Army Form) than wait before saving and starting the script) Now carefully (Don't miss-click) restore SCAR. Meaning SCAR should be a small window. Now you should be able to see your SMART screen! If you see a red dot moving (If you have graphics on) than congratulations! You have successfully fixed the canvas problem. Repeat this over again every time you use a script.

Notes: Minimizing SCAR or SMART will lose canvas, as well as disabling SMART. You may however change the FPS bar (The bar on your right) and disable the Debug. I don't think disabling the graphics is wise.

Method 2 - Hide my SMART

If the previous one fails. This method should work. The problem with this method is you won't see what occurs on SMART. Unless you use a certain script where it takes a snapshot of SMART for a period of time. Anyways minimize all windows including SCAR. Make sure you set up the script properly first! Now, depending on what hotkeys you used for running a script, the default one is Ctrl+Alt+R. Press those keys at the same time and SCAR should run. Do not touch anything! Now, this is the trick part. Wait till SMART pops up. When it does, quickly minimize it before it even starts loading Runescape. Do it under 2 seconds. You're free to open SCAR after waiting a while. (Again corresponding to the amount of time Runescape loads.) And if there is a form, wait for a while! Now after waiting, restore SCAR. If you find in the debug.

Than that means it worked! Problem is you can not open SMART or it will lose canvas.

Notes: Do not open SMART unless your closing the script.

3.1 Troubleshooting

If it still not working, try the following.

- Close all windows except SCAR.
- Close SCAR and open again.
- Go to your Windows Task Manager and end process on SCAR.

If it is still not working, try a different script.

The SMART plugin on the reflection SVN is way outdated. The current one in SRL already has all of the reflection features, anyways.

Also note that once smart pop's up you can leave it up as long as it doesnt go behind a full screen window, and you can watch it while you do other stuff on your computer.

Also not that SMART doesnt work at all for some people like me, it works in my laptop, but not the desktop looses focas as sson as it pops up ;)

I see NicbaZ, [offtopic] nice Woodcutting script. It worked for Seers Magic Trees. Now i don't need to use RSBot! You are awesome. But NiCbaZ, mind if can add one to the Wizard Tower aswell? (The one close to Seers bank too.) Thanks. Otherwise ill add it myself but im not used to editting other peoples script.

For Reflection Users - Embedded_SMART.dll

Once you have downloaded reflection and properly installed it, go to the 'Place inside plugins folder' inside the Reflection folder. Inside you'll find another Embedded_SMART.dll; this one is for a different plugins folder! Visit the folder 'C:/Program Files/SCAR 3.15/includes/SRL/place inside plugins folder'. Delete the current Embedded_SMART.dll and replace with the one provided in the Reflection folder.

You no longer need to move that plugin from Reflection, we should remove it, SRL has the one most up to date…
And anyway, you wouldn't put it in C:/Program Files/SCAR 3.15/includes/SRL/place inside plugins folder, you would put it in C:/Program Files/SCAR 3.15/Plugins…

[offtopic] NiCbaZ, i haven't ran it for a long time, i used it a few times but since the Mage Trees are crowded, i quit the script =( And no there are no gates, it's a straight path from seers bank to the mage trees (located near wizards tower.)

hey ive tried the 1st method and it works 4 me but as soon as i go to do something else it looses the canvas i dont minimise scar or smart any idea thnx
