NOTE: This is for applications only! For other topics, please go to the other thread.

This is to segregate the posts a bit, so that most everything having to do with the applications can go here. So, for one, there will not be an application template. You decide what you think you should include (besides the obvious things). The only thing I will tell you that I am looking for is that you have something to add to the group. Also: Please, don't post an essay.

Money, etc, has no defined minimum, but if you have nothing to contribute to the group money-wise, you'd better know something about the market.


Now, if there is something that is not clear or really needs a definite answer (besides the application related information), go ahead and ask (in the other thread, of course. I hope this thread won't get too cluttered.) If you wish it to be private, you can PM me here, or on IRC, or contact me on MSN (R0b0t1 *at* hotmail *dot* com) which I probably won't be on. You could also try to ask Jason2gs, if I'm busy or gone.



Post applications here. Mark them in some way, such as a fairly large-and-red "APPLICATION" somewhere.

Must've been on my clippad when I posted or something. Tbh, I thought this would be a great idea in the beginning, but I realized it'd probably be too much work in the end. It's still possible to influence the market if someone else wants to try to get a group together, though. I just feel too tired to do it.


What you'd have to do, though, is start looking at the trends, and all of that. You want something that's going very low and starts to go back up. Of course, you only see the trend completely until it is too late, but you can still "assume" when it will be.

No, you (plural) obviously don't… because if you did you would despise your self from being such….I can't think of the exact word.

Every time this sort of thing happens you leave lots of people who do good work for this community completly in the dark and confused -misguided by their 'leaders' aswell.

SRL is becoming a system where gratification involves placing your self above others in terms of equipment in knowledge… SRL should be a system where all who are willing to contribute are enabled to do so and not just those who feel special because they are part of a some 'l333t cl_lbb'

Not long ago their was a member here (JustKidding was his name) he saw this happening and left (note that he had a full longevity bar) And once upon a time there was an admin named Starblaster who made it his last deed to make this heard. What you are doing here is destructive.

When where there come a time when all of you who are Admins, moderators, developers, senior members, whatever share what you have with those who deserve it… possibly more than you.

I hope some of you reflect upon this… I'd really like to know what the 'circumstances' are that you [sarcasm]elaborated on so much[/sarcasm] so kindly for all of us… or is that just asking you to share to much of your power?

Does it make you feel special you know all the secrets or what? Just tell me I wanna know.

Sorry you (single) feel that way. But as far as I can tell there is no godamn "secret group" merchanting their face off at the moment. Of course you will not believe it and call me "hypocrite".
Really not in the mood of making a long post, like you, argue against whatever your trying to proof. There's just one thing.. If your really so "against" the way SRL is.. You might want to do the same thing as your "heroes" Starblaster\JustKidding.. Just leave SRL and post your statement on your farewell post, will save you and us time.

I think you deserve a discord sower cup.

You make no real valid points; Those points are as valid as on any online forum. No one can do a 100% good job, and neither can the Administrators on SRL. Keep in mind that SRL is a pretty big forum, and keeping it all as nice as it is may come at some cost.
There will always be people to approve or disapprove of certain decisions. You happen to disapprove with most of them. At least, that is what I think based on your posts.

As for SRL, I think the mass will agree with me that is still quite a nice and friendly forum, with some exceptions. But doesn't

About both Justkidding and Starblaster100, I fear that you don't have enough knowledge about the situations to judge.
Justkidding has had contact with WT-Fakawi quite shortly after he made this post you mention, and all was settled. He never really left SRL with a bad feeling (as far as I know) and has actually never really left SRL; he is still around a bit.
As for Starblaster100, you need a lot more information before you can make even the slightest judgement, and I will not supply this information to you, and I would appreciate if you would only judge if you actually knew what you were going on about.
StarBlaster100 lost his administrator ship because he gave some account access masks to ALL forums on SRL, including the Administrator's forum.
We hoped on a quick reaction of StarBlaster100, but we got none. We are as of today not 100% sure if he was on the account Daniel.Blaze; It might as well be someone else who shares an IP with him.

StarBlaster100 was has not lost his administrator ship because he 'might' have flamed on some topics.

Some other members of the SRL Team, including me, have the tendency to get into arguments on SRL, but mainly manage to resolve problems nicely.

I would appreciate any constructive input. :)

i agree on this point, also i have noticed that you icefire seem to take things to the extreme and exxagurate a lot, even when things have nothing to do with you. And as has been posted many a tme before, srl needs ranks, we'd fall apart otherwise.

Christ people, it was an honest mistake. Diplomats have long used French as the language of choice because of its lack of double meanings. I guess screw English, things are easy to misinterpret.

Anyhow, maybe ideas for items to "solo-merchant" would be good? There are many people and organizing this whole deal might be a bit of a challenge. Also, there are some benifits: 1) Every man for himself, so people don't get (too) upset if they loose money; 2) Even if many people choose not to participate, the item should still be merchantable (although with lower profits), as you buy a few hundred above minimum and sell a few hundred below maximum; 3) With this as a launchpad, it might be possible to get the whole "mass buyout" idea going.

If you couldn't guess, the point of this method is, simply, to buy a certain item slightly above minimum, but sell slightly above maximum. There is also only two simple rules: 1) the item must be in demand, and 2) the item should have a large range, or else you'd probably just wast time trying to get your money back as the profit per would be so small.


EDIT: It would actually be better phrased as "Sower of Discord", imho.

How hard would it have been to elaborate just a little more than… "this is canceled due to circumstances" then leave no explanation other than that and an 'post last edited by admin'.

wtf no one was accusing anyone of not doing 100% good job… I was merly venting some frustration towards the way you treat SRL members… we are always on a need to know basis and are left completely in the dark for no apparent reason and this is not the only time this is happened either… it happens on a regular basis.. ("Christ people, it was an honest mistake" this is definitively not the first)
