Here is a poll for different games to choose besides Runescape:

Maplestory
Maplestory Private Servers
Fly For Fun
Runescape Private Servers

Maplestory I guess. Never played fly for fun, and the title said other than runescape…

Maplestory Private Servers and FlyFF. I used to play Maplestory, but there is just way too much grind. And once you do complete your grind, there isn't really anything to do with your accomplishments other than grind more. Private servers make it better with increased EXP rates.

And FlyFF is pretty fun, although it does suffer a bit from the same problem of a lot of grind.

Sucks,
sucks,
sucks,
not bad if you go on a good one.

The games I usually play when not playing runescape are:

All steam games (Counterstrike, garry's mod, Day of defeat, etc.)
Company of Heroes
City of Heroes
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War

+1

I've only tried Runescape private server, and if you find a good one that doesn't lag, it can be fun ;)

Try finding one that doesn't suck (immature staff, lag, downtime, closed after a week when the owner loses interest, general sucking) and it can be fun.
