Big Huge JaGex Discussion Thread.

Now, all I want you to do is respond to the questions. This is open for discussion, but do NOT flame someone for their opinion. However, do EXPECTED criticism.

1. How does JaGex detect macroing/autoing?
2. How random are Randoms, really?
3. How effective is AntiBan?
4. How sensitive is JaGex's detection system?
5. Is it actually JaGex detecting you, or just other players reporting you, and then you getting checked over?
6. Can JaGex detect mouse movements?
7. Can JaGex detect multiple clicking?

I'll give my answers to start out.

1. They detect it because other players report you, then JaGex must check you for what they reported you for.
2. Quite random, but they are less random when doing certain activities.
3. Quite effective, but sometimes AntiBan is really ProBan, because it does the same AntiBan all of the time.
4. Not sensitive at all. As I said, the only people who can report are the other players, and JaGex checks you over.
5. The latter.
6. Nope. You most likely get reported for just staying in the same spot for long periods of time without speaking.
7. Nope, same answer as 6.

Answers please :)

1) Reported then they check you.
2) Not very, depends on #1.
3) Not very (Except for the random pixel clicks).
4) It's Half way sensitive. For example: Clicking the exact same pixel, every time will alert them.
5) Yes.
6) No.
7) I do not understand this question.

For #7, the meaning is: clicking multiple times in the same exact spot.

Then,

7) Yes.

1. They randomly check accounts, check reports and check new accounts I think
2. Not random at all, I legitted for a couple of days without getting any randoms, then I autoed, got reported and got one every 30 mins
3. Depends on the kind of antiban, I believe more in less repetitive behaviour of the script
4. Once they watch you, you are fucked
5. Both, when you get reported they flag you, and I believe they also randomly flag you, or when there's a sudden chance of behaviour etc
6. Yes, they do detect them since '06 or something like that.
7. Yes.

1. How does JaGex detect macroing/autoing? Through player reports, mouse movements / clicks, logged in time possibly also.
2. How random are Randoms, really? Not very random at all, considering you can force a random at will after doing an activity for 30 minutes to an hour then burying bones.
3. How effective is AntiBan? Not very effective at all.
4. How sensitive is JaGex's detection system? I have no idea.
5. Is it actually JaGex detecting you, or just other players reporting you, and then you getting checked over? Both, I'd say. Though when you get reported, I hear you get a random event instead of this "checking over", which will then signal JaGex or flag your account if you fail.
6. Can JaGex detect mouse movements? Yes, there are methods in the client to do so.
7. Can JaGex detect multiple clicking? Multiple clicking as in two buttons at once? Probably. Many buttons in a short period of time? Probably.

1. Mouse click/movement, time spent doing one thing
2. Not very as why do they NEVER happen the first ~20 minutes of playing?
3. Not much really
4. I don't know
5. I think is you get reported, the flag you and send a random, if you don't get it the ban you
6. Its in the client, they probably use it
7. See above

1. How does JaGex detect macroing/autoing?

- no one know they keep the detection private , people may have idea's but inless you have worked for them or been told by people who works for this we only have idea's

I have see you ( TviYh) say that there random detection is not advanced but stable , how do you know this?

2. How random are Randoms, really?

- No i have tested this, in skilling skills such as mining and woodcutting they are mostly the say, different skills draw different randoms, such as thieving draws Pillory.

I have made scrips that are constantly walking and only stop for 5-8 seconds to by the item , they have NEVER got a random, but when i stop the script and press the the telleport button i ALWAYS get a random, interesting yes?

3. How effective is AntiBan?

- Antiban is over rated, it is good yes but people go to far and jagex use it to their advantage, i don't know about you , but every time i click on a tree on runescape i don't start truing my compass and angles and hover my mouse over my skills and Randomly click over the Ms, i might have a look at my lvl's every once in a while but not to much, so it is effective but used to much.

4. How sensitive is JaGex's detection system?

- As i said in the start off this message , no one knows unless the have studied it heaps, or have worked for them or have friends working for them.

5. Is it actually JaGex detecting you, or just other players reporting you, and then you getting checked over?

- No one knows, but personally i think its a mixture of both i tested this is too ways, the first i whipped but a detectable script that i ran and watched over where there where no other players around to report me and i got banned the next day, the other one i made a human like script with no auto responder, lvl 3 and ran it at willows in draynor and i saw a few times that players said they reported me, i got banned. I Ran the same script in a remote location it went on a lvl 3 for a for a few weeks before it got banned, got to 70 wc though.

6. Can JaGex detect mouse movements?

- have to leave now :p

My thought is that if you get reported for macroing it triggers some extra bot-detection thing that automatically monitors some activities you do to find out if they're repetitive etc. or increases the amount of randoms so you'll get b& easier.. No way they have enough man-power, will nor care to manually monitor autoers.
