Today I was really bored so I wanted to try the 75k hotspot thing. Markus happened to have a character in my range lvl. The FIRST time doing this with him a got a ring of stone and a guthans body 0. 800k+ from 75k…. I'm really happy right now and I advise you guys try this.

what's 75k hotspot?

It's in the PvP worlds where each person gets 75k and kills each other in a hotspot to hopefully get a good drop to make up for the loss.

i got a better drop :) in F2P. ill make a thread in celebration sect lol.

And I only got rune plate + ancient staff + glory rofl, just enough to make up for the loss, oh well :p

you wont always get a good drop, so theres good chances to lose quite a bit $.

I know but me and whoever could stand in the hotspot forever and then finally attack. What are the things that make the drop % increase?

I can do this with whoever wants to later… im 77 combat. I can't believe it actually works… 800k!

i can do this with someone im 100 cb

i can do this with some p2p im 97 cb

The person being killed needs only 25k, not 75k.

im lvl 104 w/ members for a few more days. Can someone explain this fully tho?

when you pvp, the person you fight must have 75k and you must have 75k worth of items on and you will have a good chance to get a good drop :) if you win lol.

i made a quick guide of pvp when it came out.

and for f2p is 25k.
so:

f2p: 25k or more for ea fighter
p2p: 75k or more for ea fighter

That's not entirely true. See this excerpt from the RuneScape manual:

Drops will improve if you are carrying at least 75,000 coins' worth of items (or 25,000 coins' worth on a free world) that you will lose if you die - your three most valuable items are not included in this. To get better drops, your victim must also lose at least 25,000 coins' worth of equipment.

and p2p gear, and arrows and cbow and barrages and 2 dds'es always works and i end up w/ sometimes good shizzz:spot:

Note that PvP is still a bit buggy, I fought people in Fally west bank a few times & that is supposed to be a safe zone.

thats kuz theres a 10 second rule, so you cant hit and run.
