SRL Archive - Senior News and General

SRL Prizer is the account used for keeping the competition prices/geepees. But it never got used (trade limit popped in after SC #3 when the account was made/used), so it should still have around 5m gp/items on it, maybe even more.
Anyone know what happened to it? Hobbit should have the u/p/pin.

Edit: Please do not see this as a 'gimme geepees', as I honestly do not care about that (sudoku gives me 5m in notime anyways lol)

There really is no reason to transfer when the account can just be given away.

So I guess now a time line needs to be formulated for the auto responder competition…

Chat logs would be very helpful for researching how "real" players respond to questions and like. But as far as a timeline goes I would say maybe two weeks given for researching human behavior and an addition three weeks for the script… so like 5-6 weeks total? Or is that too long?

Yeah I asked and reminded hobbit about this, sent him a couple of PMs before the trade limit was imposed a year ago…I'm still owed 2m for winning the scripting competition lol, but Hobbit decided to keep the money for himself.

You then transfer the money from it to some of your own accs, the idea to give the whole acc was to just save the competition holder from trouble…

For the record. I just collected the donations. Start had more control over it than I. Most of the time he transferred all the money over to his account to give from there. I can check if he left anything.

back when i won the SRL scripting competition, star offered me 2m, but I asked for an auth to his ess miner instead. but the thing is, he dissapeared before he could give me the auth - he said he was going to update it before giving me it, but never got to it before he went somewhere. so i didnt get a prize for winning it

If you can track down star or get someone to vouch for it. But I was just incharge of collecting the prizes and Scripting Comp. 4 was gonna be the first one where I got to make a prize package, most of the time it was me collecting the stuff then Star usually came on and transfered the stuff to his account. But I don't know what's happening with all this, sorry.

well as you know theres no chance of talking to star before they update…no one else would really know that i havent received my auth or anything, so no one could vouch for me. i guess you could ask wizzup or nielsie but i dunno if i told them. but really, why would i lie? besides, in 2 days the srl prizebank will be useless as well since there wont be any way to get the cash off it.

Yeah and then you didnt respond to me Hobbit. Which led me to believe you were taking off with the cash for yourself as at that point in time we all thought it would be impossible to transfer after the update, which would make all the money stuck on the useless account for good, yet you still decided not to give me the 2m. My mistake if you didnt take the cash for yourself though.

I was told by Star to never give out a prize, only to collect donations. He always transfered the donated stuff to his account. I don't know if there is anything on there.
