We'll I'm an oldie, i used scar back when it was just RSC around and I know/used some stuff from then that has proven useful now. Not just scripting tho. Scar has some useful things that mess with clients transparency and other stuff. Because of this i found a simple way to maximise screen useage when you're running a virtual machine and trying to do other stuff like homework, script, or (heaven forbid) actually play runescape :-/.
I'll make a video of how to do it if these instructions aren't clear, but It is late and i am in a rush so bare with me.
Steps
1. Set up your VM with rs and scar (will be known as from here foward VMSCAR) up inside it (not necessarly running, YET).
2. Open another scar (not in the VM, will now call this scar CompSCAR) and set the client it watches to the virtual machine.
3. Take CompSCAR and click "Client->Client Always on Top." You must do this or else SCAR won't read the pixel colors etc (CompSCAR does not make you use your computer mouse)
4. Take VMSCAR and start the script.
5. Take CompSCAR and click "Client->0% Transparency."
The whole VM should dissapear now, but don't worry the script is running
6. (Optional) - Take CompSCAR and click "View->Show Preview." Now you can make that preview screen as big or as small as you want, you can also click on it and it'll click (atleast it used to) on the VM like it was up.
Now when you want to remove the transparency on scar, you must do these steps (not necessarly in this order, but this is how i do it).
1. Take CompSCAR and click "Client->No Transparency"
2. Take CompSCAR and click "Client->Client always on top" (if you want it to not always be on top).
There is a golden rule that goes along with this that you MUST obey. DO NOT CLOSE COMPSCAR UNTILL WHILE THE VM HAS 0% TRANSPARENCY!!!!!!!!
If you do, i have yet to find a way to recover it from its transparency…
