If I was to mess with my colors on my monitor like make everything really red would that mess with SCAR or does it not run off the actual display of the colors?

You should be fine. I mean, you can turn off your monitor and SCAR still works fine.

Your monitor will not affect scar. Your monitor is just the human interaction part of your computer. Scar does not need it, nor does your computer.

Ok, thanks guys. That makes me wonder though… why does SCAR need RS on the highest brightness then?

RS's applet uses the brightness just as a color variable.

SCAR uses this variable to find the colors.

It doesn't

I don't think SCAR needs the highest brightness, I think the colors that the scripter picks uses the highest brightness.

No shit!

It's easier to work with higher brightness in RuneScape since almost everything to find requires tolerance, and using the higher brightness level it is easier to find the required colours instead of some other colour which is somewhere else.

Ok, Thanks for the help guys. The colors on my monitor were really bothering me but I didn't want to change them and risk messing with SCAR. Now I will though.

And mainly because most of these SRL color functions are made on highest brightness :)

When you change something on the monitor, that doesn't affect the actual computer's functionality at all. But if you set RS to highest brightness, it outputs something different to the monitor. That's at the computer's level.

It doesn't affect SCAR, don't worry :)
