http://www.google.com/chrome
I've been using Firefox for the loongest time, I just went and installed this and I really like it.

  • It's super clean
  • Each tab uses it's own comp. resources, meaning if one tab slows down, the others won't.
  • Open source(like moz)
  • The url bar is also for google search

It also has a lot of the "standard" features like tabbed browsing. I'm going to keep playing around with it and see how it holds up. I rarely use any extensions, but for people who do I can see that as a negative. But then again, it's open source so I'm sure you can expect to see something soon. Go check it out.

Chrome uses it own task manager, tabs use Chrome's resources, not technically the computers resources, it's still possible for tabs to slow down each other, it's just that if one crashes, Chrome doesn't crash.

I really like Chrome as well, but I'm still sticking with Firefox. At least for now. Once Chrome gets more features added on to it, I'll probably switch…or use both.

I use both, if im not autoing, i go with chrome. Right now firefox is more stable for autoing.

I havent read much about it som im glad to see its coming into recognition. Its a cleaner, faster firefox as far as i can tell, with a few exceptions.

I am going to say that I also think Google Chrome is pretty cool… but because Mozilla Firefox has the awesome add ons available … it wins my vote still.

chrome is not very secure in terms of privacy etc. don't know if it bothers you, but just saying. on the other hand it's very fast and like you said, "clean".

i'm not saying they hack people, just that they don't keep a lot of the things you do private. what they do is not illegal, many (most?) people wouldn't care either way.

Bit of an old post. But what i will say is im posting this using chrome.

And after the wow factor is over. Chrome is actually a bit of a hassle for me. I use a crapload of passwords on tonnes of different sites. And chrome can only store one password per site. Plus it always seems to screw them up i have to dig into my emails to find them again.

It is really good to begin with but then it just seems like some options etc are too much hassel to change
