Updated in order to work with the new Reflection AntiRandoms Update!

Okay, the last version wasn't so Noob-Friendly, so i remade it again. Now all you have to do is follow this easy steps:

  • Download Updater.scar attached below, and put it in INCLUDES/SRL/SRL/REFELCTION/.
  • Open Reflection.scar and in the last line insert this :
  • {.Include SRL\SRL\Reflection\updater.Scar}
  • Now, go to the script you want to use, and anywhere in your main loop (I suggest at the begining) add
    RvUpdateReflection;

and that's it, now everytime you run your script, it will check your current Reflection Version, and it it's outdated, it will update it.

Changelog:
20/11/08: Edited in order to work with Reflection rev 130.
19/12/08: Edited in order to work with Reflection rev 147.
06/01/09: Added Autoupdate.

NOTE: In Updater.scar there is a const named RvThisVersion = 126; wich refeers to your current Reflection version. If this is the first time you try to download reflection or you have an older version of Reflection, then go to Updater.scar and change that const to 0.
You only need to do this once, as the const updates itself everytime you download the newest version.

Quickmarch why do you think this isn't useful?

Meh, I can't see why anyone would say that this isn't useful. To me, this looks like a really handy script, and it works…Well, it did for me. Thanks Shady!

Ty for rep, and actually get bored fast when i have to do a long project, so i can hardly finish a full script to become Srl Member. I was going to make a lumby chicken killer, but i just forgot about it. I might get on it tomorrow.

Good idea, does it update if someone adds a new file?

And, did you remove the global variables?

1. If someone adds a new file to the Rev, the same file should be added to the script, unless I add a function to grab the item names from the web (i got the idea on how to do it, but i just found it kind of useless unless it's going to be added to the reflection include itself :D).
2. I didn't remove global variables, i just named them wierdly, I'll try to remove them if you want tho.

Okay, now the Updater will check for a new version of itself and download it before downloading reflection, so you will allways get the new revs.

That would be because it is an include not a full script.

Its an include.

Not a script.
