yay got my braces off, now feels like naked teeth :)

I feel happy for you! My sister had them for 18 months, then had them off for a year, and has just now gotten them again for 24 months :(

Oooo I loved that feeling when I first got mine off. MAKE SURE you wear the retainer or your teeth shall move. I never wear mine and mine only moved a wee bit(I'm lucky). Congrats on your new teeth :)

Im getting braces in 6 days.. Idk for how long :/

I have had braces for 4 years now :(. My two front teeth go knocked out in a car accident. Hopefully I'll get em of in Feb 2009 :)

Fucking awesome combo. But do you mean some speech therapy or do they have some devices for the R pronouncing thingie..?

I had speech therapy on second grade (traktori :p), didn't work, I had this weird replacement for R, then when 7th grade started I thought that if I don't learn it, having eye glasses + r fuckup = beatup, so I just came itself…

hahaa lol, yeah got some chick who cant pronounce "S" isnt she says "sh"

so its like,

normal: sleep
Her Way: Shleep

:S lol sounds quite annoying when we have to read out loud in class/her talking :S

lol im having speech therapy since i have like a really fucked up voice lol the doctor gave me all these type of excercises like shouting the sound "aahh" really loudly and i have to do it everyday for like 2 years… but its to make my voice better so i have to do it :)

Yeah. Few people in my class had that same stuff in 1-3 grades, didn't work for any of them.. Or hasn't, as of yet.. But I doubt it'll take effect randomly 10 years or so after the therapy.

Yea, the therapy I had didn't have anything to do with the actual R fix, I just had to get it right when I went to… ylä-aste.

I used to go to speech therapy when I was younger too, I couldn't pronounce f and th properly. I still do it sometimes.

A kid at my school who was from Chile used to have problems with English too, He'd pronounce "Sheep Sh*t" as "Cheep Sheet"
