As far as RS goes, what is illegal, (in rl, not in game)…

Just a few sub-questions:
Private Servers?
SMART?
SCAR?!
I heard some people talking about some manipulation of the java applet being illegal or something? (in another thread, didn't really understand)
etc..

All of ehm are illegal afaik.

We do not use any illegal methods. We do not infringe any copyright, we do not use our knowledge about the java code, we do not break any laws. We merely play "against the rules". We cheat. Thats what we are good at, thats what we do.

We do not use our knowledge about the java code is outdated, don't know if SMART does something illegal but I doubt it.

About private servers/ hacked clients, might be, since Jagex says somewhere that you are not allowed to modify the game code in any way…

But anyway, if any trouble occurs we'll just give you out to the feds…

Private server might be copyright infringement, SCAR itself is perfectly legal, so is SMART.

What you view on your computer monitor is yours, not anyone else's, legally.
And all that SCAR, SRL, and SMART do is manipulate what is given to you by runescape.

They act off of what they see from the runescape client, and are not manipulating the code itself.
