Nature rune Thiever

Im not asking for someone to just make one and then I use it, Im asking for someone to help ME make one. (I wasnt sure where to put this thread because of that so if its in the wrong area feal free to move and i apologize) I personally feel that it would be a highly used script. I have mid level scripting skills (I think lol) regardless, i know how to do certain things but definately not all. I just think that if I could work on a script with someone else that it would greatly help me progress into becoming a better scripter.

thanks for your time and hopefully sometime soon me and someone else will have you all a top of the line Nature rune Thiever!

P.S. regardless if anyone ever reply's to this I am still going to work on one, i just dont know if I will ever get it good enough to release by myself lol.

All I really need is a way to find if in a fight, then run, And I still dont totally get how you find colors on the screen.
The rest I think I can get.
Think you can help with those parts?

I think so, doesn't seem that overly difficult

Especially with SRL includes, FindFight

I made a script for the Nature thieving awhile ago. When I get InFight I would run to the stairs and go down them for 1-2 minutes and wait, then walk back up and hopefully the thing attacking me was gone.

Biggest problem is the Randoms, they have this place as a hot seat - every 4-5 minutes a random pops up and logging in/out doesn't help.

One random to look out for is the poison, I don't remember if I did a TPA search for it or used InFight to run away since you Health Bar pops up when u get hit.

In any case it will be a script that you can't AFK from, and run it max 3-4 hours imo.

Alright, from what i get from that it seems like it wouldnt even be worht releasing really, so if I ever do figure it all out I wll probably just keep for personal use unless there is alot of people that want it?

thank you all for your info tho!

If you'd like I can help with scripting and/or help you test it. I too have a need for a nat theiver for several hours at a time.

If it is good enough I still will, but if I cant get it to run atleast 3+ hours then chances are I wont. Either way I will ask better scripters for tips and advice and try to get it the best I possibly can.

Even if you get it running for *1* hour and release, im almost certain you'll get some testers and some of the good members and admin will come thorough and give you tips on the scripting

When I made my HORRIBLE superheater, it could run for 20-30 mins before stuffup, and people helped me getting it running much longer. I got a 1.5 hour proggy before i ran out of ores

Trust me, they help

May i recommend using Reflection for this? It will help to sort problems out a lot easier i think.
