SRL Archive - Misc. Links and Programs

My Friend and I were talking one day and we got onto the discussion of slow download speed, and small bandwidth limits.

Then i remembered A tutorial on here about Archiving files. So I downloaded a program called KGB-Archiver, and tried it on Resident Evil 4, It was zipped already from 1.7 gigs to 760 mb's. I Archived it and saw that it only was 60 mb!

I told my friend about it and he said we should make a site for people like us, so I did.

Were asking if you kind people out there could pl0x help us and Archive some of your stuff and share it with us.

We were aware of this and we changed it to a "P" For two reasons

1. We were scared of Copyright Laws
2. KBG is also a group of spies in Russia, not very respected

Did you test any of the archives to make sure they work? It seems to me that they would just be owned corrupted.

I tried that program and it sucks, a 200 mb file too like 16 hours to zip or compress and even then it wasn't done.
I saw the official forums a few months ago and there are many posts asking why people can't de-compress their files and there are tonnes of errors.
Also, I'd rather (even if i had slow download speeds) download a movie in 8 hours than have to de-compress it for 20 hours…

KGB is also a company that made keyloggers for like offices so those boss people new what you are looking at.

Yeah, me and a friend tried to compress The Dark Knight (700k) and waited like 18 hours and it wasn't even compressed at all. Exact same file size. Even WinRar can do better than that. And yes we made sure to set the compression rate up. Also didn't work for an ebook.

And they got the KGB name from the Spies, because they want to infer that their program is elite, just how the spies were.
