SRL Archive - Bot Information and Spottings

So I was training my range (legit) in the stronghold, second lvl, with the zombies that drop steel arrows (great ftp range spot!) and there was a female character by the name of Newbei8, like lvl 18 or something weilding just a weapon and I think monk's robe, taking on lvl 30 zombies, clearly a strength pure. It wasn't picking up any drops (even though there was a ruby! and those steel arrows add up!) and it was running to attack all the zombies. It would sign in and out occasionally and take a couple mins to start fighting <setting up> It would also occasionally attack other zombies while still fighting. It would eat when it's health got low, but considering it only had 20 hp, it couldn't last too long. and indeed Newbei8 died before I decided to report. I'm almost positive they were using NFF. Now here's the funny part…

A couple min's later a lvl 90+ character signed on who had signed off before, for about 15 mins. and he didn't talk to me before. So I started to wonder if maybe he was autoing too… So I yelled out his name, he was like "what?" I said, "Oh, just making sure you weren't botting." He then said "*** Noob, there is no botting on runescape." LMAO!!!

Well really I found one autoer, and an annoyed legit player who is sure there is no more autoing on RS. That's the punchline, it's like how many of those lvl 90+ players really think that there is no more autoing or botting of any kind since the GE? Do they really think that we all waste hours of our lives away when we could be sleeping while lvl'ng? I'm thinking about making a poll… "what percentage of legit rs players really believe that there is no more autoing?" lol.

He could have been a non-botter, and it doesn't really matter anyways IMHO.

I think if its not blatantly obvious don't report one another. im new at this and i slip up a few times but hey… Its a learning curve i find.

lol ive done exactly the same with frostbite in lumbridge. it amuses me how many people use/used it

Also i think that every bot should have a code in it that makes the person yell "I AUTO!!!!!!" if they are under lvl 20 or somthing like that

Jagex does know about scar… and they probably routinely check this website 1-2 times a month/week… proly pay some guy 1k per hour in RS for it lol.

Exactly! I love this community, we've got'em beat and they have no idea. lol. Btw, I'm glad to see this thread is actually getting some attention. Awesome!

As far as getting Newbei8 banned; she was a low level, and using either a free for all script or a script that could have been set up better. So if she does get banned, Its the user's fault for being obvious, I didn't actually report though.

Yeah, it's always fun to have a good chat with an autoer. :)

I only report if they are extremely obvious (not using SRL.) lol. I would've reported this gal, becaouse putting a very low hp pure in a tough place overnight was stupid enough that they deserved to be banned. However I think that all of us should try not to report eachother because:

A. we might look suspicious for picking up advance botting techniques, if were bot experts me must be bot users!

B. We don't need to help Jagex figure out even more about SRL's antibans and antirandoms.

Have you ever thought that maybe the level 90 was just covering for the bot, its kinda convineient that after the bot goes, the lvl 90 comes and "oooh botting doesnt exist", prolly just to reduce the likelihood you report..
Anyone who is stupid enough to believe that botting doesnt exist, is either just stupid, or shielded from the world by their parents or some shit lol

jagex knows about scar, but i doubt they patrol these forums looking to ban people..
