As Narcle put it on IRC "Dan's ego was inflating too much, and The Claw had to burst it". Although on Friday me and Dan came to an agreement, and I asked in the mod section for him to be unbanned (I cant figure out how to lol) but no one who has access to the mod section has done anything about it yet.
