Woohoo? Just 'cause he's important doesn't mean you have to listen to him.

* Testimonial

Testimonials are quotations, in or out of context, especially cited to support or reject a given policy, action, program, or personality. The reputation or the role (expert, respected public figure, etc.) of the individual giving the statement is exploited. The testimonial places the official sanction of a respected person or authority on a propaganda message. This is done in an effort to cause the target audience to identify itself with the authority or to accept the authority's opinions and beliefs as its own.

How does Obama "reach across" any divides? He voted with Democrats 97% of the time. That's not "bringing the country together".

Democrats salivating at the possibility that they may get 60 Senate votes doesn't make it sound like they're interested in governing in the middle. With 60 votes, they can RAM THROUGH any legislation they want, no matter how hyper-partisan it may be.

Sure, Obama has worked with a couple of Republicans on legislation. So has every other Senator. And those bills weren't partisan. They didn't require him to challenge his own party in any way.

Might a President Obama be a "transformational, uniting" figure? Sure, but the track record suggests otherwise. Kind of like monkeys might fly out of my butt, but the track record says otherwise.

What we need is a good bipolar president. Every other day he can be a democrat or a republican :D

I'm about to use a magic 8-ball on both McCain and Obama and ask "who will fuck up our country less?" and see how it turns out.

Well John McCain has 4 past secutaries of state backing him.

I think McCain needs to come out and announce that if elected he will only accept 1 term in office.

I think that would be good for the country, and allay some of the concerns over his age.

The downside is that Dems would almost certainly start some sort of whisper campaign about his health being bad or something.

But that sort of announcement would open the door for Hillary Clinton again. If Obama wins, Clinton won't get another shot at President, since Obama would be running again in 4 years. If McCain wins, she will get another shot in 4 years. And if he pledges to only accept 1 term, she wouldn't be running against an incumbent.

I think it would make a lot of wavering Hillary supporters vote for McCain for that reason, and could be the boost he needs.

http://glassbooth.org/ says I'd probably find Ralph Nader better than Obama.

I don't like any of them. None of them will do what America needs. BUT McCain is definitely the best of the worst. I cast my barely-existent shred of hope with him.

I think that will have a very negative impact to his campaign.

Here's a nifty site I've come across searching for McCain's Keating Economics scandal thing: http://www.realchange.org/

It's basically a site that rips on all the candidates. Definitely learned some stuff about Nader >.<

Ok here's another one. Apparently Obama has attracted as many white voters as John Kerry had during the last election. No offence but how has he managed to convince so many of them?

Voters being too ignorant thinking everything happening now is from Bush and republicans, without realizing its the after effects of Clinton and the past 6 years of democratic control in congress…

There's a new video which shows how Obama can't even be a natural born citizen unless his entire past is a complete lie.

Its disputed he was born in Hawaii, even if he was it doesn't matter. He lost his citizenship when he went to school in Indonesia, under the Islam faith. Indonesia was at war and only allowed citizens to go to school there. Indonesia didn't have dual citizenship… meaning he couldn't to school there and be a US Citizen.

To become a US citizen again he would have had to go through immigration, making him unqualified to be president, as you have to be a natural born citizen, not naturalized.

He still refuses to hand over and information/documents on his past such as his birth certificate.

Is it not a law that they must hand over that information before becoming president?

Funny how roughly 3 seconds of Googling found it:

Seriously, how stupid are people really? Does no one know that birth certificates look different in each state? I was born in California and when I requested a copy of my birth certificate it had all of my information including weight and length, that I was a single birth, my mother's third pregnancy and all of my parents' information including their ages and occupations and my mother's signature. One of my son's was born in Georgia and included far less information and did not have my signature on it, even though I signed one in the hospital. It was a different document from the one I signed, whereas my own was a copy ot the one my mother signed.
My younger son was born in Texas and they supply so little information that the birth certificate did not even seem complete to me; his name, my name, my husband's name, place and date of birth. Not much else. It looks like it was just a form filled out from information stored. certaintly not the form I filled out what he was born.

At any rate, it is asinine to spend so much time arguing about this. People from Hawaii have already said REPEATEDLY that that's what they look like in Hawaii. Yet someone will still write, " That's a fake. Mine doesn't look like that and I was bon in Idaho."

If Obama is dumb enough to fake a public record so easily verifiable, then he doesn't deserve to be President. If anyone is too dumb to understand that some states produce birth certificates other than the original ones signed by the mother, then they are too dumb to vote.

Funny how you failed to read my post. Even if he was born in America he CANNOT be a natural born citizen thanks to his situation with Indonesia. Also that birth certificate is from the "nonpartisan" factcheck.org, where the owner served as staff with Obama for years.

He still HAS NOT presented his birth certificate in court, and hides behind technicalities, albeit proper, I fail to see why the hell he has so much he is trying to hide.

I suggest you watch this.

So let me get this straight. They found a lawer who's suing Obama and thinks his case won't go through. They call factcheck.org biased (if you've been there you'd know they rip on everyone they can, it just so happens that most of McCain's commercials are anti-Obama). They link to a Fox News article (ask ANYONE, they're the biased ones).
From the requirements listed on the left pane at one point in the video, it definately looked like you had to be a natural citizen (which Obama would be if he was born in the US), have to have lived in the country for 14 years (~30-something now?), and be over 35.

Remember that thing a while ago where Jagex was claiming that all the level-3 people cutting yews were Chinese sweatshop workers? Anyone who's been at any botting community for awhile knows damn well that they were bots (using RSDemon), but if you were to speak out against them, your forum post would be deleted and you'd probably be accused of running one of those 'sweatshops'.

People like you make a big deal over petty little things like a pin or not putting your hand over your heart during the National Anthem (and I highly doubt you do it) then completely turn a blind eye over things like the Keating Economics Scandal and his record of adultery and gambling. If you're going to call someone out on ethics, do it the right way.

Edit: Don't say I didn't read your messages, it's just that when I can take out the last thing you say as if it's a completely undisputed fact and say otherwise with barely the slightest bit of real research, I feel it says something more than people going around repeating what YouTube told them. Also, that Illuminati group is part of the "religious right" going by what their website says, though they claim to be independants (rather, the head guy says he's an independant, that doesn't say anything about the group in my opinion).

I don't care for either candidate very much, because it is like choosing the lesser of both evils. My main concern over politics was the bailout… but that got passed(dumbest thing by our government). Last time the government passed a bailout bill, it was right before the Great Depression. Doesn't it seem a little odd that the same kind of things were happening? (sorry for a little offtopic) So what I'm trying to say is both candidates voted for the bailout so I don't like either of them.
